am having problems setting up the audio... i have tried almost everything to make it work... the track loads i press play and i cant hear anything i move the faders and nothing... what can i do to solve this?
i just bought this software and i love it but i haven't gotten the timing down as far as cueing up the song beginning with the beat. got any suggestions?
Don't sweat the haters. It's hard to tell when someone's even serious or when they're just trying to piss you off. I learned on vinyl and spun from around '97-'03. Now I'm getting back into it and it's all digital. Traktor doesn't mix for you and nothing can replace a DJ that just knows what songs to play and how to play them. Using vinyl or just a mouse, it's still the same. Cue and mix. People will still suck no matter how much the software helps. And those that are good, are still good.

i wish id never uploaded this fuckin little demo. im a proffesional dj and dont use the aid of computers in any of my mixing methods, not even when producing my own tunes. you dont like the fuckin demo then dnt comment, its to show some of wat traktor can do! nothing more!

thanx for the tip reactiveplatinum. and to the other 2 comments i just want to add that i did this tutorial as a way of showing a little of traktor's options. i in no way did this to look good and its not like i made much of an effort to show any talent of any sorts. i dj for a living and dont actually use traktor or pc assistance.

did you choose the correct soundcard?? Is you channel thingy on Deck?

@danmos29 check that its not playing through the mix and coming through the master if you arent using a soundcard or mixer etc..

use beat grid adjustments... Or get a newer version of traktor. This version has a lot of issues with "syncing"

a true dj must not care if they mix vinyls, cd's, or what ever
the main reason is to play music and make ppl enjoy it and who sais other wise it doesnt deserve to do this job

I'm not a DJ.
I'm not buying loads of music every single week, to play for my public.
I'm not looking hundreds of lists to see whats hot, and what can make a floor rock.
I dont care about public, i play the top fourties list of some local shop.
I'm not listening to thousands of songs at week to know my music.
I don't use no external software or equipment to help me rock the place.
Musicians say vinyl dj's suck, because they dont make music. so vinyl dj's say about digital dj's.

dude... if u want to loop and make the loop smaller just press "2" on the keyboard and use loop end makin it as long as u want
