WOW he is lucky--I wish i Could practice kathak--But for some reason my parents dont think guys can do kathak--lolz apparently this video proves them Wrong aha

Actually my parents thought the same. but then i started learning and they were ok with it, once they saw me perform n all. now i have been learnin for 3yrs and its been wonderful. i wait for weekends when i can practice kathak. hope u get a chance to learn as well....

I think male Bharatanatyam dancers are more common these days, but male kathakars rock! Kathak was originally an art form exclusive to men.

On a different note, I'd love to attend Kadam in the future; it looks like a really great learning experience.

This was at the Lowry in Manchester (UK). I think i agree with the fact that now a days there are too many choreographers who term bollywood as kathak...
