yeah right, how are they "defending" if russia wanted they could "walk over" them with their SU's. Sorry to be obnoxious but i just wanted to let you know they are a 20 plus year old airframe with an ordinary avionics kit.
Thats Big daddy piloting that, he almost took my chimneys off the week before landing about a half a mile from my house. He did a fly by first over the house going about 600 miles an hour and scareed the !@#$%^&* out of me. I went over to the airport and met him and all our snowbirds. They are the coolest guys I have ever met
typical american arrogance! you probably think the avro arrow was a type of maple syrup, dont you? or perhaps that the telephone you use everyday was invented by an american?
no nobody thinks american aircraft are shitty Canada uses the f-18 Australia uses it aswell and Israel uses the f-15 and f-16 and still many nato countries use the f-16 f-15 or f-18.
you guys are amazing to fly with aircraft - it is the only reason I ever attend the Airshow in Toronto - everything about this plane amazes me - especially the sound of it .. if only I didn't get motion sickness easily I'd love to fly with an experienced pilot ... once again you pilots are amazing
Not to be a downer, but you may need more then a degree in physics to be accepted. Only 0.2% of applicants will end up in fast jet a/c (CF18), after selection, training, and final selection. I'm also working towards the Air Force. GL.
That was cool, but I've gotta say... the West Coast Demo from 410 seems a little more aggressive! I've seen them almost every year, and they're much more impressive than the East Coast Demo out of Baggotville.
You're thinkin' of the Tiger Meet 2003 Hornet! hmm... I can't lie... he was from 410 Sqn at Cold Lake. East Coast put out the Porcupine from 433 ETAC. That was pretty sexy!
2:35 breaking sound barrier ?
Jimderkaisser 2 years ago
Not even close lol. Just a high speed pass
SoLoThunDerBird 2 years ago
No, it is illegal to break the sound barrier in Canadian airspace during peace time.
MysticKnight38 2 years ago
...it is not illegal to use speed of sound in Canada ,but illegal to use this speed at low level altitude on a town such Montréal.
Jimderkaisser 2 years ago
@MysticKnight38 There are limited areas where +mach is allowed, for example Cold Lake, Goose Bay.

u mean finish physics then spend 7 years training to fly one ...right lol
RedLine9 4 years ago
It only takes about 3 - 4 months to complete phase 4 of training, which is on the Hornet - And only takes about 2.5 years to complete everything.
