Thanks for the new tips on how to use YouTube search. I tried using your search strategies on YouTube using my mobile phone and they did not seem to work. Are your YouTube search strategies supposed to work on a mobile device also?

@ryansteinolfson I'm not sure. I haven't tested it there. Sounds like you're saying it doesn't, which could very well be true. I don't know.

Hi Tim, great round-up! I was especially fascinated by the study that found that mobile users tend to watch more of each video than desktop users. But it makes a lot of sense, since as you pointed out, if you're using a mobile device, there are far fewer distractions since the video is taking up a lot more of the display space than on a desktop/laptop. I'm going to check out the mobile optimization video now. :)

Great video. Also, since you do so many videos and publish them on a regular basis, I'd love to see how you organize your shoots and edit sessions to make your deadlines. There never seems to be enough time to shoot and edit my own videos when I'm working on deadlines for my client's videos. Thanks!

@NashvilleWebVideo I actually live edit these videos from time to time. When I do, I post a link on Facebook and Twitter where people can see my desktop and chat with me and other viewers while I edit. Maybe that will help ya see how I keep stuff organized. just came back from the bookstore and found a book published in 2008 about the rise and success of Youtube.

it's called "15 minutes of fame"

saw some really interesting stuff from where youtube grew up and where it is now.

With this video, it's going to be very interesting to see how much further (or higher?) Youtube will go...

@Debonair73 Yeah, I agree! Epic Meal Time already has a TV pilot, too, although other YouTubers like @sxephil and @raywilliamjohnson repeatedly turn town TV gigs in favor of YouTube.
