this is not an impression of Hunter himself, but an impression of Johnny Depp's portrayal, of which it is known Hunter's opinion wasn't too fond, despite his friendship with Johnny.
So silence your mouth!
this may as well not be an impression of Hunter at all, but in fact a Johnny Depp character... jeeeez!

Actually, Hunter's appraisal of Johnny Depp's performance was that "Depp did a hell of a job." He was highly impressed with Depp's portrayal...not sure he'd be so thrilled with your cheap imitation, or your false claims about his opinions.

really... because in an interview with Johnny about the process, where he talks about his time with Hunter, he said that he kept switching from approving to downright loathing.
So noone really knows fully what Hunter thought, therefore you neither are eligable for judgement.

Thompson himself never publicly expressed anything but approval when it came to Depp's performance and the film itself. "Yeah, I liked it. It's not my show, but I appreciated it. Depp did a hell of a job. His narration is what really held the film together, I think."
And since his stated opinion of Where the Buffalo Roam used words like "sucks," "bad," "dumb," and "low-rent," I think we can safely assume that he would not have held his tongue about the Fear & Loathing movie if he disliked it.

It's right in the top where the letters start. How do you know Hunter was pissed off? Is that a subjective thought? Do you know what that is? quite the contrary we arnt stupid enough to re-do parts from fear and loathing in a fucked up order with a bic pen in our mouths. Thomson smoked ciggarettes, and wouldnt drop money on expensive aviators. The manerisms were fucked and obviously forced.
