I actually saw them live in Gothenburg 1979, but it didnt sound like this. But they played some of the songs a little faster live, but mostly that was good and gave the music energy :)
Maybe I'm making more of it and it was innocent. But, to me it sounded like he was being a jerk. Bjorn has really come across as a jerk post ABBA, in interviews.
I don't see why he couldn't have introduced her like the rest.
Of the officially released Wembley 79 recordings only I'd only call Hole in Your Soul exceptional as a performance, where they actually seem to combine passion and discipline and it's marvellous. But for much of the rest of those Wembley concerts they sound very uncommitted to me. Australia 77 was very much better, but I'm never convinced even there they wouldn't rather be in the studio.
I'd agree with quite a few comments I've seen elsewhere that ABBA were not always a great live band, especially towards the end of their career. I never find it easy to judge in fan recordings because of the sound quality but to me this one is really just a fast run through, occasionally redeemed by the vocals.
I'm glad you enjoyed this rarity! I don't mean to be boastful, but I think this is the only YouTube version of this live track with the (tasteful) introduction from Bjorn!
Absolutely bloody marvellous. What I wouldn't do to relive November 10th 1979, ABBA, Wembley Arena. I apreciate that a lot of songs from the concerts were either not filmed or lost on the cutting room floor, but I'm sure the audio for some shows was recorded in full. It does seem really churlish not to release it. Thanks, Rudolf, another gem!
Where did you find it....on a bootleg?

The tape is original speed. It's the original key. Dunno why they chose to play it fast.

What a jerk Bjorn is. He didn't even mention Agnetha's name. What an idiot letting one of the most beautiful ladies in history get away.

There 79 tour performances were drowned out by the use of the Synthesizers, gives a cold feel to the music.
