  • Where did you find it....on a bootleg?

  • I actually saw them live in Gothenburg 1979, but it didnt sound like this. But they played some of the songs a little faster live, but mostly that was good and gave the music energy :)

  • The tape is original speed. It's the original key. Dunno why they chose to play it fast.

  • There's something wrong with this..

  • I think this transfer is a bit speeded up.

  • What a jerk Bjorn is. He didn't even mention Agnetha's name. What an idiot letting one of the most beautiful ladies in history get away.

  • @mousergz Actually, he says "former wife."

Maybe I'm making more of it and it was innocent. But, to me it sounded like he was being a jerk. Bjorn has really come across as a jerk post ABBA, in interviews.

I don't see why he couldn't have introduced her like the rest.

  • A great song destroyed ! Awful, Jesus, is there a race going on to finish it in 2 minutes or something ??????

  • @proto1type I second that...this is awful.

  • I love your video and your show.. this is a great song thank you.

  • haha um, she sounds like she's gonna pass out after this!

  • lovely introduction :) i wonder if he wrote that song for her. :)

  • My god, how fast can Agnetha sing!! That is incredible!

  • @Wobbletron It's really fast :D Especially the mamamama part. :)

  • There 79 tour performances were drowned out by the use of the Synthesizers, gives a cold feel to the music.

  • Finishing...

Of the officially released Wembley 79 recordings only I'd only call Hole in Your Soul exceptional as a performance, where they actually seem to combine passion and discipline and it's marvellous. But for much of the rest of those Wembley concerts they sound very uncommitted to me. Australia 77 was very much better, but I'm never convinced even there they wouldn't rather be in the studio.

  • summer night city and does your mothr know were also exceptional..in my view anyway...

  • I'd agree with quite a few comments I've seen elsewhere that ABBA were not always a great live band, especially towards the end of their career. I never find it easy to judge in fan recordings because of the sound quality but to me this one is really just a fast run through, occasionally redeemed by the vocals.

  • Thanks for the the good quality live track Rudolph, nice set of live pix too!

  • I'm glad you enjoyed this rarity! I don't mean to be boastful, but I think this is the only YouTube version of this live track with the (tasteful) introduction from Bjorn!

  • Wonderful Rudolph!!! I love the song & your slides are great to go with it my friend! I like the desoulving transitions! Nice clear pictures..

  • You always have such nice words to say on my videos, thank you and keep up your good work as well!!

  • Absolutely bloody marvellous. What I wouldn't do to relive November 10th 1979, ABBA, Wembley Arena. I apreciate that a lot of songs from the concerts were either not filmed or lost on the cutting room floor, but I'm sure the audio for some shows was recorded in full. It does seem really churlish not to release it. Thanks, Rudolf, another gem!

  • How tender he is...;/
