Wow... could you please email me any details ..i,d love to teach this...is there a monthly subsription like zumba? i live in kent and cant wait to do this ! thanks becky
Aw Kerri! I love you in this video! You and Cara look like you are having an absolute Ball!!!! I'm the first Bokwa Instructor in Rotherham and it's going down really well with my participants. It's so easy to follow and I can't wait for my Level 2 course on the 20th Jan. I'd also be interested to know where the music is from as I need to get some more stuff myself and some faster beats. Any suggestions for good songs to BOKWA to?
Can't keep still when I watch this! I've been doing BOKWA for a few months now and it's super-easy to pick up the moves and you don't need to learn a routine as what you can't see here is that you're following sign language - each letter relates to a move, genius!!
Oh yeah I understand what you mean! No it looks absolutely fab. I already have an email from you :) I would have loved to do the course in June but I have already made other commitments for my dance school that weekend! But as soon as you get another date Im there. Im always wanting to do new things! And I can not wait! If I was closer to you or if im ever in the area I will defo pop in for a class :)
the structure of the class is made up of firstly teaching steps and then taking them through a brief cardo workout using the steps they have just learnt. Bokwa is physically more demanding than Zumba therefore is impossible to do an hour only on Cardio. The classes we have taken in the UK so far have been hugely successful if you would like more information I can send it via email. I am also a Zumba teacher and also love it, Bokwa is very different but again so much fun!!!!
Im a dancer, dance teacher and zumba instructor and I really love this but I just dont see how you would get people to follow you in such a fast pace work out routine without breaking down the steps and teaching them first? Everyone in this clip knows exactly what they are doing! Have they been doing this routine for months? x
I've been doing zumba for about eight months. I picked this up after my first class. I've taken it three times now. It's actually not that hard, it's just when you build upon the basic steps you learn that makes it a bit more difficult. But as with all fitness there's a learning curve. Shoot in my class there are women in their 50s and above that are doing it and looking amazing while doing it. People can pick it up. Don't underestimate your students.
