I have a problem with my iphone that i was trying to update it from 4.2.1 to 4.3.3 then it is stuck in recovery mode and now when i use redsn0w to just boot it boots but restart in few mins and stuck again in the recoevry mode and the screen is always black.

For anyone who has a home button that just DOESN'T respond.

It works: delete all content off your iPod. Everything. It seriously makes the iPod respond faster.

I don't care who you are or what you know, this was the ONLY way I could get into DFU.

Just a tip for anyone in the same annoying boat as me. (The home button isn't a ribbon issue either, I'm sure. It's all performance related.)

Hello I have a Iphone 3gs 5.0.1, everything works until i get to the "patching kernel" part. Then redsnow stops responding. I have used redsnow 10b5 and 10b5c, ran them as admin., even checked the windows service pack 2, but everytime it stops responding at patching kernel. I have also tryed just booting the jailbreak, but then my phone gets stuck with a pineapple on the screen. I have also tried using my ispw pack but it say its not compatible with this version of redsnow. Can you help me?

Hey everyone yea i had commented on this vid awhile saying it didnt work, stated that redsnow never read my build therefore nothing happened. well i have found the fix wat u wanna do is download the ipsw for your IOS then on redsnow hit extras and select custom ipsw, this will automatically see the build and then continue with the DUV mode and everything will work.
