i did it but mine didnt start with a land it started on water and i kept spawning there and dying. how can i change map for this or spawn point

I'm running the server from my computer but when my brother tries to connect it just says 'failed to connect to server' :( the same thing happened when I tried to make us a server with hamachi D:

@Elbereth478 Trying to make a server with Hamachi does not work for me, but this method should work, try changing the settings for Online-Mode to False if he is using a cracked version.

@jkubb29 Thought I had the same problem too. But when you click on the minecraft_server.jar (621 KB) it probably downloads as a .zip just change that manually to .jar

@KylPoo i usually start it with the jar file, and i put the commands which increase the ram, which gives it alot of extra ram
