yes, it only emulates .jar files. Any other files are not compatible. I dont know about that error. It has never happened to me. sorry.

you have to first extract the files you downloaded.. make sure its not compressed(zip) and then copy the file to game150

if you dont have custom firmware.. you cant use this.. if you do have custom firmware... you can just make a game150 folder in your PSP folder... or better yet, backup your mem stick to oyour computer, then format the mem stick in your psp.. if you dont have GAME150, it means you dont have custom firmware
