  • i hope i can get a nice price for this baby once the GTX660 comes out in April :)

  • Isnt it possible to overclock this card further? At my PC it idles at 26°C and i havent seen it reach 60°C by gaming yet.

  • Hmm.. This is interesting my GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr || has that pcb strengthen bit?

  • If you don't mind I would like to ask you a question, Did you ever burned any graphic's or CPU by increasing the Core Voltage? or processors and graphics are smart enough in this times that after when we set too high voltage it just comes back to most stable one?

  • WOW it fell, thats not good.I LOLED SO MUCH AT THAT MOMENT!

  • how do you enable the core voltage bar in msi afterburner???

  • @Sugar87Tits option

  • @11KAB11 Get GTX 560, SLI it later.

  • Comment removed

  • Should I buy a gtx 560 or just buy another 460 to go sli ?

  • @11KAB11 gtx 560 so good.

  • If i buy this card in 2GB edition how much better will it be in games like Battlefield 3 and will 2GB VRAM last longer in gaming?

  • @Games4LifeSWE does this card has 2 gb version? and answer to your question, bf3 in high res. uses more then 1 gb vram. if you're using big screen go for 2 gb

  • @xPhanrisalx Oh, sorry! I am thinking about to buying the MSI GTX 560 Ti Twin frozr 2GB, i went to the wrong video :P But anyways thanks for answering my question :D

  • @xPhanrisalx exactly what i noticed! my textures started to turn pink lol, framerates were still ok though :) love my 560Ti Hawk, hope to buy a friend for it sometime :P

  • I will have one Tomorrow! Yeah! xD

  • Can someone explain to me how to overclock this card? To overclock, do you need more power supply or not if it's not sufficient enough? And this Auto PWM switch, does it plays a role in overclocking?

  • whats the fastest version of this card cause forums are now useless cause people say zotac amp, hawk, blah blah blah...

  • @CoreFuse You should not look at the fastest one. Rather the best one in terms of Sound x tempature x performance = best card

I use a Hawk and it's not the greatest model. After reading allot in the 560-ti series the best model is the Sparkle GTX560Ti Calibre. Just check the overclock3d website for a good review.

  • @BaronKRoolenstein Yeah, I learn. I went with a basic MSI version cause low price, low temp, sound, and wont take as much power... Only $230. Might learn OC to make 850Mhz instead of 832Mhz cause to much = death, right? Keep making video I like them...

  • which motherboard is it

  • Which version of afterburner should I download? I've downloaded like 5 different ones and I can adjust the voltage like you do, with core, memory and aux i can only adjust the core one, what should i do? plz reply

  • @MartinP95 then it's probably the graphics card you're using.

Mine can't overclock voltage too. but my new graphics card can.

  • @MartinP95 Newest beta works fine.

  • I've seen people complain about the noise... is it really that noisy? I'd love to get this card but I don't want to have a loud card.. some say that the card so loud that it makes it hard for them to hear the game they're playing without head phones..

It seems quiet enough here but

    watch?v=xzGMMH9Tq7U

it really is too loud in here

  • Comment removed

  • How much core voltage do I want to use those OC settings? I see yours is at +150 mv but my Afterburner has total voltage not a +/-. Default being 1075.

  • @Mobliz Download latest beta,

  • My Hawk goes up too 80+ degrees in BF3 "high" with the Fan Speed set to 50%.

Is that to much, or is it ok.

    "pls answer"

  • @SnakePlizkin meh not really, dont let it get above 90-95 though to be shure

  • I have an evga gtx560ti sc can i still do the overclock that you linus do? without counting the heat variable, anyone feel free to answer, thx!

  • @MartinP95 Heat **IS** the variable. The highest these cards are gonna go without crashing, like Linus says, is about 1050mhz CORE clock.

  • What's a good temperature for a GPU? Say I overclock this 560 HAWK and it runs at 70 degrees Celsius, is that good or too high? What is considered overheating?

  • @nousername21

id the gpu stays under 75 degrees everything is fine, if its over 75 degrees better increase the fan rpm ;)

  • @nousername21 70 degrees isn't even hot for an gpu, a gpu can easily handle 100 degrees Celsius. Like mine gtx 480 does. (That's normal)

  • How is this compare to the Asus gtx560 direct CU??!?!?

  • Should i get a gtx 550 ti in sli or the gtx 560 ti ??

  • @nboejui 560 ti

  • @nboejui 560 ti

  • @nboejui

    gtx 550 TI sucks

  • should i go with the msi gtx 560 ti hawk or asus gtx 560 ti dii top card???

  • Im buying that GPU with a Thermaltake TR2 600w, will i get the same performance like yours? HELP! what core voltage, memory voltage, core clock, shader clock, memory clock will i set?

  • hey guy's I have a problem with MSI afterburner, it can't read the hawk version. sooo I can't do MSI triple overvoltage. what should I do?

    PLS! PLS! HELP ME!

  • Everyone that replied to my sistem: It turns out it was my PSU. I ordered a Corsair 850w HX PSU and love it! I run bechmarks at max and all that. My max temp. was 50°c. Thanks grandmaster1365 for you tip.

  • I'm planning to get:

    MSI N560GTX-Ti Hawk

AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE

Will a 550W power supply be enough?

    Please reply someone <:O

  • @KimTheMango

I have the AMD phenom II X4 955 BE and I bought the 560 ti msi hawkand ran it off my 585 power supply and within 30 mins playing metro 2033 I killed the powersupply. The box asks for 600 wt minimum. I ended up buying a 650 corsair power supply and it handles it like a BAU5.

  • This card is a monster, i have one and i overclocked it to 1025mhz core / 2300mhz memory with stock voltages P: .

  • is this ti and will it max out bf3 if not what card under 200GBP will

  • I like this boy very much with his ultra expert reviews and of-course his cat!!! this graphics card is just another monster and masterpiece from MSI. Even better than 6950 2GB when overclocked!!! I'll buy this in new future.

  • Has anyone got the card yet? What are the temps are u guys getting on this?

Mayb post your chassis alongside so we can finally know how this card fares.

    Enuf with the digression !

  • When i saw the core voltage i was all like, whaaaaaaat, its insane

  • This is the 560 ti hawk your talking about right? Wait yup it is.

  • I have an intel i3 530

    4 gb of RAM

    500gb Hard drive

and a 600w unknown brand power suply

    LG DVD Burner

    And lastly a 560 Hawk

If I try to play games on Max or on medium my PC randomly Crashes! Is this Possible or is my Card Bad?

  • @CoolVideos1996 could be the 'unknown' power supply

only go for companies such as Cooler Master for power supplies

  • @CoolVideos1996 It may be your motherboard.

  • @CoolVideos1996 I think it may be your power supply just like the other guy said, many people skip out on a good trusted brand for the power supply, and remember it isn't all about the Watt in the power supply

  • @CoolVideos1996

    Hi dude!

It seems that your power supply doesn't feed your system enough. This could damage your system (the system you mentioned above). This system needs at least 500w REAL power (real power with minimum of 20 Amper on each 12v rail). Most of power supplys with unknown brand dont provide as much power as they claim. So my friend I suggest you to change your PSU as soon as possible (buy Corsair or Memonex Game series power supplys or some other verified brands as you wish).

  • Comment removed

  • @CoolVideos1996 u must have a shit psu because all it uses is 220 max volt so if ur 600w cnt run this card single gpu u should of gotten a new psu not upgrade but i guess it dnt matter

  • @CoolVideos1996 Lol, you can run two of them in sli with a good 650W psu. 8)

  • IN SLI THESE CARDS ARE THE SHIT!!!

  • Can you tell me where i could buy one of your case, online? whats it called?

    Thanks for your answer.

  • @Metalicalypse its a highspeed PC techstation

  • I actually switched from getting an XFX 6870 card to this card here because of Linus's videos... hes helped me a ton in picking items I've chosen from his tips here and his other channels as well!

  • The card somehow looks like a fallout nuclear power plant cooler.

  • is that the asus p8p67 mobo

  • @brandonr717 70% sure it is :)

  • this is the 560 Ti edt rigth ? not just the 560

  • @MissMan666 Yeah this is the Ti

  • Im gonna buy two and go SLI with them! :-D

  • People are saying this card is louder than the Twin Frozr II, which is TRUE... BUT, the card has 20% more airflow, making it ideally louder by at least 20% compared to the stock cooler at the same fan speeds, as well as the fact that it has 2 fans. This card is so cool even overclocked at 950mHz that it almost never needs past 40% fan speed to keep it nice and cool, where it is still pretty quiet.

  • im lose 375 dolars =( hawk Twin frozr III is a hot, shit. =( msi mother fuckers, i have 85° celsius with 20 C ambient. here in argentina its normal 40 c ambient in december =(

  • @emivivo all FERMI graphic cards are hot, GTX 460 cyclops (HUGE FAN) is hot on stock speeds. Your best option if you want normal temp is to watercool :/

  • @TheAnonymousGreek No they aren't hot at all at stock speeds .... and GTX 460 with cyclone cooler has very low temperatures!!!

  • @MrRobbyable man cmon, everyone knows all the fermi cards suck, ive had a gtx 460 cyclops before my gtx 560ti and it ran pretty hot while playing crysis 2 and yes on stock speeds it ran hot

  • i already boughted

  • I'm gonna buy this BEAST soon!

  • ive heard the twin frozr II is quieter than the tf III.

  • I can't decide between the hawk and the golden edition, they cost the same where I am. Anyone?

  • zoom zoom zoom there it is ( thats what she said )

  • Did you notice much difference in noise between the twin frozr II and the twin frozr III (aka hawk). The release info just keeps going on about the increased airflow. Also do you still get full PWM fan speed control in afterburner and does that just override the silly little fan speed switch on the PCB? Many thanks.

  • lol i can run this video card at 1GHz core clock and 2250MHz memory clock with no voltage tweaks :P

  • Comment removed

  • @BassPounderX it's so easy via Afterburner, you don't need any guiding.. i hope.. :=)

  • Comment removed

  • hey i'm just woundering, what is the lenght of the card? 9 inch or 10 or 10.5 ?

  • Linus, can you do a video comparison between the Twin Frozr 3 vs the Twin Frozr 2?

  • @TheSoccerGaming Yes...Linus please respond

  • Strange white ball in corner at 0:28 o.O

  • Would like to see a volt meter check compared to Afterburner.

  • Can someone help? I can't modify the core voltage or any voltage even if I checked it off as yes in the settings....

  • @BassPounderX He already has.......

  • @PelleLolWut oh thx alot :>

  • You guys will never believe the issue people are having with the Twin Frozr III according to reviews!

The fan blades are flying off!!!

Linus, be careful the blade may suddenly break off and slice your face!

  • @BassPounderX he did a overclocking guide last year in may, just search on youtube for "Video Card Overclocking Guide (NCIX Tech Tips #69)"

  • @BassPounderX Linus already made a GPU overclocking guide, but at the NCIX Channel ( /watch?v=gA_l5-HDel4 )

  • i always grew up to know be super super super careful with pc components. even though i know that all u have to do now is be regular carefull my heart skipped a beat when good ol linus tipped the card over. is that normal lol

  • damn should of got this instead of the gigabyte SOC GTX 560 i just ordered :/ ahhh well same thing almost

  • @LinusTechTips you should run tests in performance mode...Not all of us got the full 3DMark11

  • Unbox more Twin Frozr 3 cards, Nvidia or AMD, doesn't matter, that cooler looks and performs really good

  • TwinFrozr II is better. TwinFrozr III costs more, barely delivers better temps., and has problems with the fan blades breaking.

  • I there guys was wondering if anyone could help me out. I currently got EP45-UD3LR gigabyte board. I got a Vertez 2 90gb from a friend and I dunno if it will work with my older graph will it actually work?

  • Shader clocks are locked now? That sucks. They probably did that to reduce the cards ability to be used as a workstation card.Bastards

  • linus your new cam is kinda laggy.. the old one is much better..

  • @BassPounderX he did :|

  • @f9seekers u sure?

  • Is there any difference between the Twin Frozr 2 and 3 apart from the looks and the fans?

  • @BassPounderX

    I ll write you one:

drag the thingy to the right for 5% run bench, test on gaming

    check temps and stability (FPS)

notice there is nearly no real improvements

    the end

  • @BassPounderX

    I ll write you one:

    the end

  • 2:37 wow it felt that no good

    XD

  • @mennorkmans He said "Whoa it fell that's no good."

  • @mennorkmans Wow it fell* that's* no good.

  • @BassPounderX you need a guide for that? download afterburner, raise the clocks until you see instability on furmark, lower it just by that border. there's no real difficulty

  • GTX560 or AMD 6950?

  • @allukoira 6950, you can flash it to 6970, and have about the same performace as a gtx 570

  • @allukoira Seriously? The 6950.

  • @Gollsodia Don't worry I already got the 6990...

  • @Gollsodia Don't worry I already got the GTX590

  • @allukoira D'oh, that wasn't one of the choices!

  • @Gollsodia But it took so long for people to answer so I bought something which is good and I know it

  • does the 560 need 2 6 pins ?

  • 0:40 nice, your cursor went 25 times around the 1029 Mhz, so your very proud right ? ^^

  • If only it was out when I built my PC in February.

  • only linus can lose a gtx 560 on the ground with style

  • where the heck do i get this...cant find any places that ship this to norway :(

  • Does anyone have the video of how to mount this card on to the motherbord ?

  • @Gireesh0092 just mount it as any other videocard ;)

  • @Gireesh0092 i'm guessing it mounts just about the same as every other PCI E card :-j

  • lol weird voice at 2:12 to 2:15

  • Twin Frozr 2 looks better :/ thats uber gay the frozr 3 looks ball but I will still buy one :D

  • sooo wich is better this or gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti (windforce)?

  • My hand is a dolphin.

  • what does the aux voltage do?

  • what an awesome card!

  • Im so glad i bought this card.

  • Is it gtx 560 or gtx 560 ti

  • @hstpska it's gtx 560 ti. gtx 560 havent been released yet

  • @Harley2991 It's GTX550ti lol

  • @Harley2991 It's GTX550ti lol

  • @hstpska There is no GTX 560.

  • Do a tutorial on overclocking a sandy bridge (non-k edition), I managed to get 4.013GHz on a i7 2600 (Not K)

And please, anybody who got above mine remember this isn't a K-Series.

  • so which would you recomend between this card (MSi Hawk) or the Gigabyte SOC edition?

  • 1 JIGGAHERTZ!!!

  • Twin Frozen 3! Wiiiiiiiiiiiiii! :)

  • And please flim the "Good enough gaming PC" video with the Canon XA10.....!!!

  • can i has a free ssd?

  • Do a temperature and sound comparison! I heard that this card is not only loud, but also gets very hot :/

  • @LifeInMyOpinion it getting hot just doesn't sound plausible as the Hawk edition cards are made for extremely good cooling. But the noise part sounds very possible.

  • MSI and ASUS OUTPERFORM EVGAY by a LONG SHOOT!

  • @Jefneurotoxin i know right? but EVGA still sales more NVIDIA graphics card, i think is for their reputation.

  • @Jefneurotoxin while that is true to some extent, they have a shorter warranty term than EVGA's equivalent offerings. EVGA cards are geared for long-term reliability.

  • Linus, do u have Hwbot profile ?

  • @skullkruncher02 it really is up to your card as every batch is different.

  • 3d mark is more CPU dependent, so no matter the changes you do on the graphic card 3d mark will not show much of a change..

  • is it just me or that the Frozr 3 looks cheap compare to the Frozr 2?

  • @Mewzyc It's just you. It looks damn near identical besides the black logo on the bottom right.

  • no PCB back plate?

  • @TheTemplai Those are mainly on ATI cards and serve no purpose other than aesthetics.

  • @gizmofsu sometimes they act as heatspreaders or give the card a bit more rigidity once installed

  • @TheEGGtech If they really are going for rigidity, they would have connected it to the Metal casing that your VGA/DVI connectors are housed in.

Admittedly, this is a very petty discussion. I think it looks cool. I just don't think it was made to serve any other purpose. =)

  • @gizmofsu well, I like aesthetics bro..

  • Linus driver 270.61 is out!!!!!!!

  • @exonerator that mean he use the CD !!!

  • I'm also keen to see the Gigabyte 560 ti SOC...being that I own one! Do that next Linus or a comparison as already suggested by previous poster.

  • 560 hawk vs 560 ti SOC vs 570

  • I will no longer buy a mid/higend range vidcard if it does not! have a rigidity brace, I've build too many setup only to see my $300 card droop and look ghetto.

  • 1080P?
