No other pickup sound as clean and have an extra overdrive and have the widest frequency range for sure!

I have a les paul and I want to install push/pull pots on them but I don't know which size to buy. Do I get a long shaft or short shaft? I took out my tone pots and found that they are short pots, about 3/4". Do I buy the long shaft instead?
