This was my first exposure to the poem. I still can't recall the two lines that Art Carney omitted on this performance...If I recall Gene Autrey's "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" was next on the album.
Art Carney could dance his behind off too! Remember MC Hammer? He was not the first one dancing like that! Art Carney did back in the 50's! Can you believe that? He sure did!

Art Carney was the best! Even Jackie Gleason admitted that Carney was the best thing about "The Honeymooners". I miss him a lot.

Art was ahead of his time, rapping 'night before christmas' in the earky 50's. Does anyone else hear a little Will Smith in that voice?
