  • Did someone forget to install the rollcage.

  • el tipo más suertudo del mundo!!! tantos murieron por accidentes tan tontos y éste sale caminando como si nada... O_O

  • lucky

  • only dislike cause it was almost fatal

  • walks away like a boss ;)

  • isn't this car in a museum?

  • ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....loko meuuuuuu

  • The barrier caved in, its the part of the barrier where the haulers enter the track. This wasn't the first time this had happened

  • I think NASCAR was experimenting with a new kind of chassis made from recycled Coke cans.

  • the roll cage of his car was cardboard wrapped in tin foil as far as that wall is concerned

  • This proves there is a Lady Luck.

  • Its called thin walled EWS mild steel tubing....

  • omg lol looked like when he came out he was like "hmm...just another sunday, eh?" but yeh few inches the other way and he would of been hit hard :S

  • I was there. It was unbelievable when he walked out of that pile. Same spot where Michael Waltrip crashed a number of years earlier. His car was actually worse than this one.

  • prove how shit nascar is never be as good as f1 or indy

  • look up some really bad nascar crashes and tell me what you think about safety

  • he have very fast angel

  • that is just fucked up mate

  • the reason it fell apart like that is cus the gate was open and the concrete wall basically cut the car in half

  • nice dude better go smoke some weed cause his nerves r gonna be shot

  • This isn't the 1st time that something like this happened at Bristol, Micheal Waltrip did this in a Busch series race in the 90s

  • he was lucky

  • wow I hope he bought a lottery ticket...

  • @stu22aus geez that's original. LOL

  • the gate was left open

  • why did that car fall apart like that

  • You know noone really knows it was either because he hit the side of his car where there is a wall sticking out o the track or the car body was built or put on wrong but nobody is really sure.

  • basicly. a typycal fiber-glass body

  • There is really no question about it. The impact of the car hitting the end of the wall was what caused it to be cut open. The integrity of the car does not factor in, except for the fact that he walked away unscathed.

  • The gate was not properly secured. When the car came into contact with the gate it flew open and the car went head on into the concrete wall. The impact of a 3,400 pound car, moving close to 100mph, into a stationary wall, creates an incredible amount of force, so the wall acted on the car like a warm knife through butter.
