AWD cars excel in standing starts and don't do so well in rolling acceleration. I would bet the Vishnu would take the F430 off the line.

And the track car business...When Ferrari go racing, they build a one-off Formula 1 car, when Mitsubishi went racing, they modded a street Evo.

If I had to pay, I would buy the Evo...if it were a gift with insurance thrown in, sure I would take the F430. You just can't beat the Scuderia's mystique.

(although its not modified haha) Also, it's a known fact that the engine internals from the 2jzgte(From the mk4 supra) are capable of withstanding about 800hp reliably. You must be referring to the 7mgte from the mk3. I've read that those tend to blow headgaskets often.

This is EVO was effectively making OVER 500 HPs at the crank. There is a similar video of (presumable) these folks where they are actually TUNING the EVO, which was equipped with Vishnu 550Hp turbine-package, bundled with XEDE and other candies. On that video, the EVO's baseline run falls WAY behind the F430, but after some tweaking, the story changes dramatically.

EVO's are and will be performance kings. No questions asked.
