@BadgerCheese94 Non taken but you do not get the whole picture. Ukraine gets cold weather and LOTS of snow every winter, -15 to -25 Celsius is normal for winters in Ukraine but there is a catch! Do you know why everybody always talks about how cold it is in Russia or Ukraine when the same temperature can be in Germany or New England? Well the difference is in the geography of the landscape. Ukraine is predominantly flat and winds blow across a very long distances, that makes it colder

I don't know about USA, but in these countries there are VERY many people living on the streets which are not able to get inside when these colds strike.

I'm actually surprised you as an american say that the people living on the streets survive, what do they use some kinda NASA clothes?

Well folks, this is why we need carbon taxes. The intense cold is due to Global Warming. Darn Global Warming...oh silly me I forgot, it's now called 'Climate Change', due to the fact that the planet hasn't actually been warming lately...well who cares what we call it, so long as the people accept being taxed more while the Elite continue to live in mansions and fly about in private jets, it's all fine, right?

So thats where the canadain winter went. were at 5 C should be at -20. minus -30 for us is normal.cant even go ice fishing or skidooing. shit europe hits -30 it makes international new. . if i could i would take our winter back. as a canadian i fell lost without the cold.

@dano132454:You´re accustomed to cold in Canada because you have no gulf stream, on the other hand cold winters are nothing so abnormal even in Middle of Western Europe, you just "need" a cold wave arriving from Russia or Scandinavia or both together,the gulf stream can´t work miracles in the winter time.The last 2 winters WERE mostly cold+snowy in Germany+France etc, but there is no guarantee of return, it can also be that cold winters don´t happen here for several years afterwards.
