  • I love how this video is in a chicken coop. Somewhat contrapuntal :)

  • Good discussion Joe. It's a little over the average person's ability to comprehend, though. They know the basics, which is "the current system is totally broken". For many, that's as far as it's gonna get, let's be honest. At least they're barking up the right tree :)

  • Are you going to the big silver summit in Spokane next weekend??? I Hope so.

  • I LIKE YOUR JACKET!

  • Comment removed

  • Outstanding, Joe.__For anyone who is still confused, start with this: One plus One equals Two.

  • I think someone has to explain why gold seems to be going in the same direction as the DOW. This morning, the DOW's up 2.5% and gold's up $35. This has been a pattern for the past month or so and I don't like it.

  • stupid chickens

  • Hahahaha!!!

  • Good work Joe.

  • I can imagine that mortgage backed securities are all well and good as long as there is a continuous stream of people taking on mortgages who can afford to service them. So I guess that Dr Evil is the one who irresponsibly lowered lending criteria to satisfy the demand for those higher than normal guaranteed rates of return.

  • Have you seen the movie Margin Call? And if so, what do you think of it?

  • But isn't that expected 8% rate of return due to the fact that people need to hedge against inflation? Isn't the real problem low interest rates? Too much cheap money in the system?

  • Excellent. We come back to Milton Friedman and Peter Drucker

  • Where is the hope? This is a bad change. 1rst its peaceful then comes the pain!

Democrat and Republican are to blame, Throw THEM out if you want change!!!

  • this might sound a little out there joe, but i have a theory that institutions such as the banks, the fed, the government, all have a WILL of their own. meaning that in some way we can think of them as living creatures, pursuing their own self- interest. meaning that the Fed doesn't want to die any more than you or I do. i know it sounds crazy, but Carl Jung has my back on this one. Great vid!!

  • give them intrest

  • As always, a very good point.

  • The gift from Generation X and Y to the baby boomers will be payments to the social security fund that will most likely be insolvent by the time the former reaches their 60s. So for all retirees out there collecting social security, you have been reimbursed by your children and grandchildren for your hard work. We thank you.

  • @FortuneSeek3rz That is why I think devaluation is inevitable. The check will always come... but what it can buy is another matter.

  • I don't believe Primerica is concerned about rates of return....they are concerned with making commissions selling you investment products.

  • Primerica is multilevel marketing, like Amway. It was formally know as A.L. Williams. It has been compared to a pyramid system where you make your riches from recruiting others under you, and those under them that they recruit by a cut of each sale.

  • Priamerica is a scam, get far far away lol

  • Primerica is a subsidiary to citigroup, big bad bank. Just another collection group, to get consumers to pay there bills to big banks.

  • pension funds need 8% year over year.. The only way NYC teachers work is the fact the state guarantees 7.25% with the tax payer making up any difference.

  • @wepollock Yes - and what happens when the tax payer can no longer make up the difference... I think currency devaluation is the only way to make it work.

  • I was in the March on Wall street the other day. went there to see and support. I seen police arrest and rough up protestors, especially near the brooklyn bridge. Question, was your friend 'weeklytelegram' who is a NYC cop involved to enforce the establishment's rules??

  • @Romulan112 I think he is an MTA cop... his beat is the subway. I could be wrong.

  • People need that rate of return because of the constant inflation of the centrally controlled currency. Sound money, that doesnt lose value, would remove the desperate need for people to gamble with their savings in order to keep them. Get these protests over to the fed

  • In New York the civil service pensions are guaranteed by the State's Constitution. You cannot "diminish" benefits to those in a pension (tier). I suppose taxpayers make up the difference or cuts in spending.

  • Why do people need a rate of return?

The answer is the real problem not the desire for a rate of return.

  • @davincij15 If I loan you £1000 for you to setup business and you're successful, then its only fair I get something in return.

  • @lawes84

That's fine but is that 1000 and the return need for your retirement? :)

  • I noticed you have many chickens yet I have none.If you dont give me a chicken I will vote someone in that will take your chicken and give it to me.Later I will go protest and ask for you to give me an egg.

  • There's been no real growth in the economy in the last decade.

  • Can't wait to get your take on the upcoming 'Occupy The FED rallies'.

  • got disappeared? means got made into dinner

  • whoever makes a vid lately is putting wall street in the title to get more views.

  • evil is not 'seeking a hig rate of return'. Evil is initiating force against someone else. The gvt forces you to eat the bank's losses. They send armed policemen to your door on non compliance.

They are the evil, they initiate force against you. Without them the banks would not even have loaned their money to idiots. People naturally are cautious with lending money. Unless they can offload the bad consequences of their actions with violence.

  • you have a rate of return when you hold on to your wealth while others lose it in dumb investments fueled by cheap credit.

  • Excellent and fundamental point that you make. It's amazing that I have not heard any others make this same argument, because it is the crux of our problems.

    I enjoy your videos.

  • gratzz

  • No credit pay cash, Invest in the American entrepreneur !! Ban Wal-Mart ( 5 billion people shop at wal -mart.... Most of them get SSI !! 80% of products at Wal-Mart are Made in an Asian country for under $0.50 an hour. This in effect is giving our money to Asia... SHOP AMERICAN, You 've heard it for years NOW you need to do it............ America needs to stay ahead in all industry we need to create and build and do it cheap, its better than nothing wholly shit !! Stop being so greedy !

  • Another driving force is debt. The high rate of return is necessary to service debt.

  • Primerica is such a scam...

I had that same interview you had then schooled on economics, and watched their eyes glaze over.

  • I have yet to meet anyone when discussing the debt crisis who talks about how the debt was created in the first place and what is money? I believe school kids should be taught those fundamentals right now there is a phoney argument about cutting the debt through QE / stimulus or austerity /cuts/tax rises. Totally agree about the pensions, however I truly believed when hardworking people who retire now get jacked people will increasingly get angry(probably to be manipulated into the false debate)

  • only one male ?

  • I saw Rocky 3 with some chick on a beach in the Caymans Islands. He had a stack of silver with him. I'd check on your stash if I was you.

  • Alternative assets to gold: guns, ammo, food and other supplies... but still own gold and silver... the real money.

  • That was a great explanation.....and you were very easy on the "millions" of people who are simply spoiled, greedy, takers of the tax payers money while claiming it's not their fault.....gimme,gimme, gimmeeeeee!!! my guaranteed rate of return.

  • Fantastic video Joe, you really explain something here. Thank you!

    And...I LEARNED SOMETHING!!!!!

  • Where ya been Joe? Been Missin ya !!

  • Very educational. Thanks.

  • when this Occupy Wall St started, reporters said the reason for the protest was unclear, lol, like all the protesters are stupid, there are many reasons

  • Very good point! But only one among many driving factors. Where does the millions paid in CEO bonuses factor in to the "Dr. Evil" equation? Are they "pressured" to take huge bonuses or is because they can get away with it. Goldman Sachs created the GSCI which is the number 1 driver of food inflation starving millions around the world..because there's a demand for it?

It's an evolutionary crisis first and foremost. Driven by fear and inner division.

  • @jackieochannel The system is so desparate for its returns that it is putting up with the skimmers on the top. In 2008 Hank Paulson (I think) said that the bailouts would create some fraud, but that was a part of the cost.

  • Goldman Sachs owns the most Dr. Evil's..they're called New York Stock Exchange trading "specialists" that manipulate the price of stocks between wholesale and retail..they guarantee Goldman and incredible profit..untold BILLIONS every year..far greater than all the profit that Las Vegas can generate..The big boys would never allow the little guys to play in their game unless the big boys knew they could fleece them..the Dr. Evil's are real, and the biggest one's work for Goldman and JPM.

  • i think i just ate one of rockys people...without bq sauce .....silver is up or down you get a chicken

  • So the pension funds are going to crash at some point b/c we have no growth?

  • @TheAndervet In order to save the pension funds, they have to create devaluation greater than the rates of return they expect. So if the expect 6% rate of return, 8% inflation will save them... but not their purchasing power.

  • @silverfuturist Thank you for your reply. I enjoy your vid's!!!

  • why dont you go to wall street and educate the protestors?

  • You need to get a greater rate of return than inflation or it's not worth the risk, it's not greed it's survival.

  • Rocky 4 with mash potatoes and cream corn......yummy!

  • @Pfsif ..with rocky 3 gravy giblets ...your making me hungry again

  • Good to see the chickens are back. The farm in the background seems to be thriving. The real message you are sending in this context is self sufficiency and preparedness. After reading zerohedge, I go over to YouTube to see how the chickens are doing.

  • Joe Primerica is a pyramid scheme! LOL. They've been around for at least a decade. Its amway for financial advise.

  • Joe, from my recollections on the farm, hens lay eggs whether they are inseminated by a rooster or not. My buddy has hundreds and sells eggs to help his income. I don't think he owns a rooster. That said you are my favorite sliver guy bar none, better that Sgt, endlessmountain, and the others I listen to. Your enthusiasm is great. and you seem politically agnostic. Which is great.

  • @huskerbird1 Yes, the normal hens always lay eggs. But Adrian stopped laying eggs after Rocky 3 was gone, and started again when Rocky 5 "got on it."

  • @silverfuturist cool dude, love watching you and Jackie O's vid's. they are kind of upbeat and happy, in these sad times. Which might tell you that the others I watch, are not so optimistic. Thanks for the response, from here in good ole oklahoma.

  • So the folks on Wall Street are keeping the pension funds working and are preying on them at the same time? While using tax payers to keep the scam going? Okay.

So when will you talk about no usury on currency? Will you? You only going to keep talking price and how we are just slaves to it?

Being 'smart' and being 'right' and being 'good' are all different and can work together - just like being 'wrong, dumb and bad' is justification why you are not.

Can U be a leader for US?

    IAMSLATTERY

  • silver is my pension I don't need any short term devaluing dividends thanks

  • Imagine msnbc explaining things like SF......surrounded by chickens

  • You are a very strange little man, but you make very good points in your videos....

Keep up the good work :)

  • I think at some point in their lives, even with a little instinct driven bird brain, some germ of an idea eventually forms in their little heads that... HEY !! This giant person creature keeps stealing our eggs!! WTF??!

And then they forget about the realization and go about pecking at stuff.

    Just a thought.

  • @davematherly Excellent observation! Doesn't matter if we're speaking of peckers or pensioners, your statement is still true. Brilliant!

  • @asbestosicould we are more like them than we know.

  • You are offering a great alternative view! Thank you!

  • I hope she shits on you ...LOL

  • Then we must strike down Glass-Steigel. After that, there might just be a chance of acheiving something with a real impact. We definitely need a game changer, and the mindset that created the current problems will not be the same as the mindset from which the solutions come. If you like greed, and investmen banking, I would get the fuck outta Dodge. No mercy for PIGS.

  • you don't need a roster to get eggs. the roster is only needed if you want chicks.

  • @waltersfriend I'm sorry, you're not down on my roster...

  • @raspberrybaggio Thanks for the correction Dr Spell Evil

  • @waltersfriend Lol, that name suits me well:)

  • Primerica is an MLM with very expansive insurance products in Canada. What concerns mutual funds I agree with Robert Kiosaky that it is diversification again your ignorance. Commissions on insurance and funds are very high in relations of profit margins on Silver and Gold bullion. Bankers are making money by pushing paper, they are afraid of public saving in metals.

  • @Alexiscom1 You make a great point Alexis! This mentality of making money from money that is made out of thin air is like an uncontrollable disease! Its comparable to a cancer. Well its time that the cancer leads to them losing their limbs those banksters Gangsters!

  • well, i thought it obvious we need to sell gold, silver once its high enough, and buy dividend growth stocks for instance, etc..

  • I vote that you teach economics at Princeton Yale Harvard

  • @1newdennis I saw a taped lecture from a Yale class. The professor said his hedge fund was bailed out by Warren Buffet because he couldn't make a margin call... the class is exactly as you would expect by somebody who got bailed out by Buffet.

  • Great vid!

  • Did you see the list of things they are demanding...most of it is down right crazy... One example???? They want 20 dollar /hr min wage....Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment....WOW who are they kidding...

  • @mfith Read the Communist Manifesto. It is all there. Racists on the right Communists on the left. Same false choice as 1930 Germany

  • @mfith They ain't kidding anyone but you, buddy. You think McDonalds would close their doors if they had to pay full timers $20/per? Give your head a shake - the usual drips and drabs aren't going to make us go away this time. We want systemic change, and an end to corporate facist control over federal economic policy. We can start by ending the Fed Reserve. And if you're smart, you'll chose your sides wisely...

  • Rocky 5 Niiice!

Materialism and greed owns America. What you are telling people just proves that we all need this system to reset. It will be painful but unless these things are brought to light the common person will never realize it. If we don't learn from our mistakes we are doomed to repeat them in the next system that will be forced upon us.

  • The Baby Boom Generation is scaring the Shit out of Government.....because we are now at a point where the *Boomers* are now starting to retire. The bankers want to Rob these Boomers out of their retirement. imo.

  • @TheSilverWatch The Boomers were made promises that can't be delivered. But your silver doesn't require any promises, just safe keeping.

  • @silverfuturist If the boomers were made promises that can't be kept (contract law) then perhaps at least The Boomers could launch a lawsuit which would require generational payback from the decendents of those responsible for making the promises in the first place.

  • @silverfuturist -- just wondering, do you have a job? what kind of work do you do, or how do you support yourself?

  • Hens lay eggs without roosters, but they aren't fertile. Maybe he got her ovaries "in the mood?"

  • Good vid, learning more everyday.

  • first

  • yay rocky!love your vids.

  • Jackie "O" has you wearing a coat, She has your juevos in her hands Joe !!!

    LOL LOL LOL
