If she went to Xfactor with none of the gimmicks... the different persona.. the 'change my style every 30 seconds' attitude... and was humble like she is in this Green Eyed World thing rather than a diva like she was when she arrived at Xfactor... she might have had the likeability and may have gotten a little further than she did. Or the judges would of thought she was boring... either way... the nation wouldn't want to lynch her like they do now wouldn't they. :P

I loved Katie Vogel so much on Green Eyed World and even as Katie Waissel I still love her voice and her mind, but this whole betrayer-thing messes everything up. Who is she? Katie Vogel, Katie V, Katie Waissel, Lola Fontaine?

Surely for ANY job somebody who applies needs to have PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE first. Why is everyone being so vile., ok so her performance style isn't "mainstream". But at least the girl is trying, for anyone to believe they would be just picked out of obscurity and shoved into stardom... that is delusional. I dont understand whats the big deal with her having a record deal. seemingly it was not working for her. so she needed more publisatly I think most ppl in her position would do the same. what about that nick guy that was on the same show cheryl was on. and was in a band and got signed but didnt get anywere. and charyl felt strage to judge him. no one had any problems with him being there and if he had gone to live shows think anyone would have cared? no. its just bad press.

Storrn, Treyc and Leona weren't bound to contracts when they entered. Katie was, and that was against the rules.

It had nothing to do with whether they had other opportunities in the past, X Factor rules clearly state that you cannot be bound to an active contract.

Simon wanted her on the show and hoped that word of her US record deal wouldn't leak out. When it did he bent the rules for her and that was unfair to the other contestants.

Thing is gamu should have gone through but she also is not just a nobody like the other girls - working down tesco or whatever - she has led a huge gospel choir recorded for TV and done Jazz music singing for the BBC learning zone. She's super confident in these performances n when she delivers on X Factor but constantly acts rather oddly unconfident and cries more than any other contestant- I think both girls will do well without x factor personally-esp as they've both already 'made it' a bit
