You need to realize that not all Muslims practice Sharia law. In the Sunnah law, men hold the family title like with the last names, woman cannot give their last name to their child when they are married, but he man's last name is passed over. A woman cannot marry a non muslim because in our ( muslims) beliefs a man holds religious family values.

I am a non practicing Muslim and do not care about any religion personally I care about how a person is regardless of what they believe in. what really is disturbing is that some people with their comments try to make it sound like its justified for what happened to that poor guy.
