Well, we started learning the song before we heard the original Manhattan Transfer version and happened to use this speed. When we heard the original song, we still preferred our tempo...I will admit that I kind of rushed through my solo though C:
My group did the same thing, and I agree, once you learn it at your own tempo the manhattan transfer version seems ridiculously slow, tedious to sing, this speed gives it a bit of life.

i think you guys took this song way to fast. it's supposed to insanely laid back but you just plowed through it. good singing though!
