As hard as it is to let any criminal get away, you have to think about the liabilities involved when doing a PIT that can cause lives. If someone loses their life over a bad check or you find out your loved one was hit head on from a chase and died because the people wrote bad checks then you are talking lawsuits and jobs plus the innocent lives. Thats why they try and assess if it is worth going forward or not. An armed bank robber that is a threat to society is a lot different than a bad che
@RCronier that's why half-way through part 1 of the video is where the PIT should've been done...plenty of open highway with no other cars around...the officer had the chance, and the Sgt. made that officer piss that chance away
@chpman2013 You right man....there was sooo much space available for the cops to make a PIT maneuver on freeway.....there was one time no car ahead; simply empty traffic. Why cops love their cars soo much and risk the society after they can end something much earlier and so quickly? I just see cop cruisers following the criminal all time long. After soo long, they managed to catch the suspect. Soo much improvement on the skills needed to complete pursuits much better fashion!!!
U know if the Pursuit is not in the SGT district he should not even be calling the Pursuit because its not his county someone with a different agency should be calling the pursuit and the main goal is you try to take this guy out with out causing an accident. I saw several things the agency did wrong that needs improved. I can tell the SGT wants this money since he never ended the pursuit

They also don't know how to follow a direct order from thier supervisor calling it off, dive conditions are very unsafe and way to much traffic. These cops don't seem to understand that even though they call the chase off and yet still follow the vehicle like they are the vehicle will still drive crazy cause the cops are still behind them, cops need to turn off from following them, but they look like dumb asses and have No concern for any safety for the other drives around them or themselfs

As if driving really aggressively around a (possibly imbalanced) suspect wouldn't change the way they're driving. Thank God for level-headed sergeants like this one, who decided that putting this small-time crook behind bars wasn't worth the possibility of killing an innocent bystander in those dangerous conditions.
