When you see people in other countries being forced into terrible situations, too many people think, "Not my problem." Seeing it in a clearly American context makes it more shocking, and hopefully gets people thinking who would otherwise go "meh," and change the channel.

@alipazagaful It's pretty normal for 15-16 years to have had some sort of sexual experience, or to have started thinking about sex. I'm not saying you aren't normal, btw. Most teenagers, however, are not mature enough to make good sexual health decisions combined with the sex drive kicking in - THAT why so many teenage parents exist. Which is why sexual education is important starting young; hopefully by 16, some of it will be engrained knowledge, and save a few lives from becoming statistics.
