As much as I like both Amtgard and Dagorhir...I do have to say with the lighter weapons, Amt has a lot more technical stuff where as Dag has very brutish ways about it.
I have played both for about 2 years now so I know I am not an expert, that's just my opinion.
I do like the shield bashing and kicking of sorts so I turn to Dag when I need more violence, but sometimes I like to go around swinging those really light weapons.
@randoth357 I liked the spin move. While he was overexposed for a moment like any such spin shot will tend to do, his footwork allowed him snap it off quick and minimize the time his body traveled through the "overexposed and gonna get pimped" zone. Very nice.
@technococcus Ben (Clalibus) is a... third degree? I don't remember, but basically, he is also a sword fencer. His footwork being on that level also steams from that as much as the actual fighting shot. right there you saw his offensive spin shot, there's another that he spins almost exactly the same, but with a minor foot withdrawal that turns it into a defensive spin which draws even the most experienced fighter to there death...
And they say larping isn't sexy!

that spin move would never work against a dagorhir fighter.

@randoth357 Riiiiiight.
I think it would work on any foam fighter, regardless of game of origin, just requires the right setup.

@randoth357
That spin (sans cross follow-up) gets me many kills every time I fight. I play Dagorhir exclusively.

@randoth357 good thing is amtgard. and it probly would because of dagorhir fighters has weak as technique
