My 12 year old brother has 2 AVM's in his brain and had a bleed right before Christmas and us still in the hospital I had no idea so many other people have them but I'm glad to see so many survivors :)

my son just had an avm rubture in the lower part of his brain... hes 6.. i'm try to be strong but deep down i kno' its not enough... dis happened 2 days ago while he was plyin durin recess... i was off on a business trip.. i havent seen him in 3 weeks prior to his injury... i feel so guilty...

I am an AVM survivor, too!

I just had a stroke 4 months ago because of it, but I have been recovering pretty fast.

I definitely want to participate the AVM Walk next year!

I didn't know that there is an AVM awareness walk, I wish I could go but my husband's gone and I have a 3 yr old I would need some help to get there If I could go.

Look at me! I'm a moviestar :) It was so amazing to meet so many people this weekend. I hope that this event will continue to grow and that more of our AVM family will be able to attend!

I think it's rather inspiring that families became involved this way. I'd like to see more family members be as supportive :)
