  • Satanic to the core. The only ones who can forgive are the ones you have wronged.

  • @RobertMOdell it's okay to forgive yourself sometimes - by that i don't mean we are denying we've done someone wrong - it's just saying, "you are not a bad person just because you made mistakes. you don't have to go kill yourself or something, nor is your life a waste." yeah, we hurt others sometimes and yeah, it's not right. but when you try to correct yourself, just try to keep positive.

  • @kakliza I would think the more important thing to seek is forgiveness from those you have wronged. Then, after deciding to never again do what you did, forgiving yourself would be appropriate.

  • @RobertMOdell dear sir, while i HAVE NO DOUBT AT ALL WHAT YOU SAY - in fact MY RELIGION SAYS THAT NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU PRAY, FAST etc - BUT IF YOU HURT OTHERS, YOU'RE GOIN' TO HELL BABE! - that is how much my religion cares about being a good family member / friend - my religion also teaches that we must balance that out with hoping and praying for the Grace of GOD, to never give up and to never destroy our lives for the sake of the past. mistakes happen but that don't mean we can't improve

  • @RobertMOdell just asking - if you hurt me (let's pretend) and I won't ever forgive you....what would you do? Kill yourself? destroy your life and your family's life by being depressed and carrying guilt throughout your life? what about your wife, children? you gonna rob them of happiness coz you did someone something wrong? I am not saying that you don't owe someone an apology, but you made a mistake and if i don't forgive you - then what would you do?

  • @kakliza I said you should first seek forgiveness, meaning you should admit to your guilt and apologize. I didn't say you must wait for that forgiveness. I said you should decide to never again do what you did. Only after these is it appropriate to forgive yourself. Your video omitting these is coming off badly. It sounds like doing something wrong, making no amends but then look for ways to justify yourself anyway. I'm not saying that is anything you have done, just how it sounds here.

  • @RobertMOdell hey there, just wanted to ask you one thing - aside from all this discussion - if a person you apologised to, really didn't want to forgive you and you think that he / she is just being inconsiderate, what would you do?

  • @kakliza If you have apologised as you said, there is not much more you can do to mend the damage, unless some form of reparation (like the return of stolen money) is appropriate. Beyond that, you have done the right thing. There is, of course, consequences to wrong. The right thing to do when someone apologizes is to forgive them. But not everyone does what is right and you cannot control that. But what you can work on is any need to forsake what brought the offense in the first place.

  • @RobertMOdell and one more thing, supposing I didn't forgive you - simply out of spite - don't that mean i owe you the apology then?

Honeybun, if everyone forgave themselves only after they'd been forgiven, there'd be a lot of suicides in this world : maybe the two of us won't even be alive, for we as sure as anything have hurt others in our long lives.

  • id love to be able to forgive myself but my family never lets me forget

  • This was great for me, thank you!

  • yayaya "we all have".... but you dont look every day at "us all", you have to look everyday into the mirror seeing yourself
