If it's a foundation (which of course it is), that is ALL THE MORE REASON for it to have been an excellent movie. But instead it was weak, the story was bad, and the villain was hammy.

For some reason, in my country when the movie "ended" it had subtitles saying that there would be something during the credits. Many people in the cinema who couldnt understand the subtitle language left, they missed of the extra portion of the movie! To those who have not watched it, stay during the credits!

Well, as a non reader of Green Lantern Comics...i didnt know much about it. So watching movie was very new...i really like Hal's power of inventing anything by using his imagination...that was really coll...and the whole plot about Parallex and Oa planet was good and fearsome. And I do like humor in movies...so i think it was good touc as well.

Ryan was quite good and Blake looks beautiful!!!

On the whole I will give movie 4 out of 5. :D
