  • i wish todays action movies and game could use soundtracks like this again..

  • good music

  • temazo

  • This music is so out of the 1980's.

Easy lover she'll break your heart but you won't see it.

  • I hope somebody rearrange all the Double Dragon Soundtrack with real instruments, real drums, real guitarrs and so. even with voices like chorus or something =(

  • @pefjavier there are a few on OCremix.org some dedicated fans churn out decent remixes.

  • woooooooooooooww i love this

  • Awesome arranged soundtrack for an awesome beat-'em-all of our early childhood, yay for the mighty NES !

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!!! EASY LOVER/HARDFISTS

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!!!

  • i think it is

  • Someday love will find you

Brake those chains that bind you

    One night will remind you

How we touched and went our separate ways!

  • No matter how many times I hear this song, I keep coming back to it. This has to be, without a doubt, one of the greatest video game song remixes I've ever heard in my life, and one of the few I like better than the original song.

  • "Just Beat Iiiiit (Beat iiit) Beat Iiiiit (Beat iiit) Nooo one want's to Beee deFeaated♪"

  • GO FOR BROKE

  • now you know double dragon is a REAL 80's game!

  • Inspired by Phil Collins. Nice

  • The saxophone was a really nice touch

  • I found soundtrack from a movie that sounds exactly like this look here:

    watch?v=RdAV-a4LHNI

  • Excellent remix! All we need now is Double Dragon II: The Revenge HD Remix and this to go into it!

  • THE GREATEST VIDEO GAME MUSIC EVER

  • SUCH A RIP OFF of EASY LOVER lol

  • i don't know what yall are talking about. Phil Collins got his beat from this song !!

  • she's an easy lover, she'll get a hold on you believe it! she's like no other, and before you know it you'll be on your knees!

  • ahhh this is the track i was looking for! this track is dope to kick ass to

  • Music to lose your virginity to. 8U

  • Bravo man Bravo , now if only they would get this one on XBL too .

  • EASY LOVER!!!! LOL!!!! That's funnay!

  • The inspiration from the Easy Lover song at the beginning's pretty obvious, but it's a really cool touch. I always liked the intro on the original song, and it's cool how they included that in this song as well.

  • "She's an easy lover."

  • lol..easy lover

  • @jasoncuts1 lmao !! I knew there was a reason I liked it ! LMAO !!!

  • MUY BUEN SOUNDTRACK !!!! EXCELENTISIMO!!!! esta cancion pertenece al juego " DOUBLE DRAGON XTREME "

WE NEED THE MP3 RIGHT NOW !!!!!!

  • Excellent work! Reminds me of Phil Bailey and Phil Collins' duet "Easy Lover"...

  • KSSH KSSH WUGG WUGG WUGG BLITSING(the knee thing) All day long..

Song reinvents the original 8 Bit version finally not a sloppy upgrade to nicer sounds..

  • the beginning part is exactly the same, definitely all 80's

  • sounds like easy lover by phil collins

  • Yeah, that certain part must have been "inspired" by the Phil Collins song. The real version on the consoles and arcades doesn't have it though. I don't like this version much anyways, it also sounds a bit "soft" and lame.

I like the arcade version best, it sounds a lot grittier and more fitting with a very raw 80's synth sound. I have a part of the arcade version extracted from the rom as wav if you want a link pm me.

  • @agetro82 BIG time. "She's an easy lover!"

  • gimme the link to this track

  • panda, screw what you talking about, this version is beast

  • if anybody knew what this game was about it could b explained in 2 words FLYING KNEEEE haah awesome game

  • The 80's Are Golden Last Great Era 4 Movies Arcades Pizza Parlors & Toys. I Loved Being A Kid During This Time.

  • Yeah I loved being a kid in the 80's as well growing up with Ghostbusters, Indiana Jones and all the great 80's music, cartoons and toys.

  • Are you dissing the superior NES version?

  • If you look at how superior the NES version is, it has a better storyline complete with cutscenes, more levels, and a final boss battle which is really epic!

  • You know what? Fine. Just calm down. Why don't you play the recent Double Dragon game for the Game Boy Advance? It's called Double Dragon Advance, it's just like the arcade version, but with added features.

  • I guess you must be a disgruntled Double Dragon fan if you hate the NES versions...

  • You are a Double Dragon fan, but being a very disgruntled one for dissing the superior NES versions.

  • Haha my God Superior. Thats like saying Street Fighter 2 on the NES is better then the Arcade.

The DD arcade game was a smash hit which is the very reason it was on NES and every other home console in the first place. It inspired Final Fight and countless other games.

  • Get this troll out of here!

  • Not a troll, a realist. Keep living in your fantasy that the NES version was even close. You're in the vast minority.

  • You know what? Fine. There are some arcade versions that are better than some ports, but when it comes to arcade to console games like Guerrilla War and Double Dragon, they are not sh*t!

  • LISTEN, Look at the GBA remake of double dragon. It was a remake of the ARCADE not the platformer NES version. Even Nintendo know its the best version.

  • Whatever. It included the final boss of Double Dragon II anyway.

  • you are right the arcade version of every game are always better. the arcade machines were big computers and it only makes sense they can have better graphics and sound than a little home console. Not to mention bigger games with more memory usage for sprites and levels

  • Yes that used to be the case, thankfully not anymore. Arcades now are made from PC hardware which is very soon inferior to what someone can buy at home. The fact the NES was so inferior makes it even more irritating when I hear someone say the NES version is double dragon when they didnt grow up with the real thing.

  • exactly right. Remember TMNT on the arcade vs the NES version, no comparison. Same goes for double dragon, lethal inforcers, street fighters and a lot others. Console versions of these games were still a lot of fun, but they simply cant beat the higher quality arcades.

  • Did Your Local Arcade Have A Musty Smell Like Mine ? That Was The Neighborhood Arcade, But Downtown's Arcade Was Awesome With A Pizza Parlor Across The Street. The Pizza Parlor Is Still There But The Arcade Is Torn Down I Still Have Tokens Lol

  • @VideoGamePervert if you went in to eat pizza , there was always a good chance you could play a decent arcade game .

  • @VideoGamePervert the 80's, the height of the golden years.

  • @VideoGamePervert : Now that I think about the boss of that stage looked like a scorned lover to me.

  • @VideoGamePervert

Me, too! In my book, that was the best time ever to be a kid.

  • @VideoGamePervert Wow I was born in 1991 & I look back at the years & I missed out on alot of awesomeness, I swear I was born in the wrong era! :( Oh well I'll just have to make the best of now I guess

  • @Jameson0link

Thank goodness the good old days have been preserved! You may have missed living them, but I'm glad you still have the opportunity to experience their greatness.

  • yeah me too - you forget to add playing double dragon too lol ;op

  • Amen to that.

  • @K60420 RIGHT ON!!

  • @K60420

hell fuckin yeh man. like wise

  • @K60420 YOU DAMNN RIGHT!!!! 80'S BABY HERE ALL THE WAY!!!!

  • This tune reminds me of the GENESIS album "Shes an easy lover". What a contrast

  • lol so funny and true

  • Post apocoliptic.

  • Apocalyptic

  • wooooow...so 80's!!!!!!!!!! i love it! xD

  • I remember playing DD2 when I was younger and being on this level and just thinking, "why does this music sounds SO familiar!" I didn't even put two and two together until I got older. That's really cool that they payed homage to Easy Lover. Definitely one of my favorite 80's songs.

  • Only one word; "Awesome!!!"

  • Someone should do the battle music from Chrono trigger interlaced with Wanna Be Startin' Something by Michael Jackson

  • Easy Lover....she'll take but you won't see it....she's like no other...before you know you'll be on your knees!!

  • Classic!

  • This arrangement sounds like such a rip off of "Easy Lover" by Phil Colliins and Philip Bailey.

  • Yeah that's what I thought the first time I heard this song, I thought I was the only one who noticed it.

  • Holy crap, you guys are right! Even the helicopter ride at the beginning of the music video captures the essence of Mission 2 -- doing battle with thugs jumping out a helicopter, while fighting to hitch a ride on a enemy chopper (at least in the NES version).

To be fair, the Double Dragon series is a ripoff of Hokuto No Ken, and HNK gained popularity in Japan around the time "Easy Rider" was made. Maybe Technos was paying tribute to both properties at the time.

  • Hahaha :D

I knew this was reminding me of a song I know.

THANK YOU for telling the Song's name.

  • My thoughts exactlly. Smell Like Copyright Infringment for that arrange song.

  • @Kobashi81 Haha, it TOTALLY is!

  • @Kobashi81

If the composers were to tell me they didn't draw inspiration from that awesome classic, I would call them liars straight to their faces.

  • @Kobashi81 Actually, the original song ("Low Pursuit") was made by Kazunaka Yamane as an instrumental rendition to "Easy Lover".

  • @SrBridges Wow. Interesting.

  • This is tied with the Mission 5 arranged track as my favorite track from this album.

  • Yes those are nice ones. My personal favorite is track 10 "Roar of the Double Dragon" brings back memories of kicking the ass of the final boss on the "supreme master" difficulty.
