I met my now boyfriend in dorky plays and musicals such as A Conneticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court, A Very Potter Musical, and Seussical. In the latter of which we were Mr. and Mrs. Mayor. He asked me to homecoming in front of the entire marching band and of course I said yes. We have been dating ever since and went on to become nerdfighters. Oh, and today we went to see the Phantom Menace in 3D.
It is NOT OSMOSIS. Osmosis is ONLY the diffusion of WATER though a membrane, and my biology teacher has said that she will rip my arm off and beat me with the soggy end if i make that mistake ever.

My friend Paul & I went a Tour de Nerdfighting 2012 event, & at that point I really liked him. We were both so excited when we got to meet our favorite youtubers. My nerdfigher friend is jewish, and her best friend is gay, so one day Jake (gay friend) finished some book by David Levithan, called her at 3 in the morning to say
"So I'm guessing David Levithan is gay and jewish"
She says "Yeah"
Then he says "So if we were older and married, then David Levithan would be our son?"
Me and some people I sorta know were gonna watch this movie on a TV. And someone is like "Hmm I sometimes wonder about 3D TVs." Then this other girl was like.. you guessed it...
"Yeah some people can't watch 3D stuff. This guy on the internet like created 2D glasses.." and I was like "Hey I think I know what you're talking about...!!" :D

@RocknRollaSaur what you do is you find nerdfighterlike on the internet and then you wait six to twenty four months and then you get on a plane and you meet said nerdfighterlike partner and it will only be the best two weeks of your life ever.
@RocknRollaSaur I know, phrasing like that makes it sound inherently superficial and if you are purposely looking for love on the interwebs then it really is.
But the actual reality is not depressing at all, it's two people that met each other and love each other shittons, they just live in two different countries. Yeah, the waiting sucks, but eventually you start minimizing the amount of time not spent together and speaking on video 24/7 when you're separate, and it's not all that bad.

My hubby will so be a nerd fighter, as soon as I tune him in to these vids. Yeah, I think we'll have new things to talk about... That's always a good thing, after being together for 8 yrs. (married for 4)

Not exactly nerdfightelike but my boyfriend nerds out about video games (such as Skyrim) to me and I nerd out about Doctor Who, Harry Potter and the vlogbrothers to him.
I met a grande total of 2 other nerdfighters at this small camp I went to, and I have to say, it was AMAZING. seriously, besides my cousin, who introduced me, and my legions of tactical minions that i have converted to follow the ways of the nerdfighters and doctor who, along with many other nerd-related things, they were the only other to that i have ever met. French the Llama! it was phenomenal.
This isn't nerdfighter like, but it is funny. I was at a summer camp, and I shared a tent with another girl. I was talking with her, and she mentioned that one of her favorite books was Paper Towns. This is what happened:
Me:"Isn't that by John Green?"
Her:"DFTBA?"
Me:"French the Llama!"
So then I found a nerdfighter best friend from Iowa. Thank you John Green!

I didn't know he was a nerdfighter nor did I even know what that was until I saw that he signed the postcard I got down there with DFTBA. Nerdfighter like: I was heading to the MCM Midland expo, Feb 2010. In cosplay of course. On the platform I met a stormtrooper. Not the 501st kind of stormtrooper that are really aresey but just a guy who thought it would be cool, which it was... anyway, this stormtrooper was an awesome guy with REALLY fluffy hair and green eyes who i ended up spending the whole day with... and now, i kinda spend every day with him :3 love you curly, don't forget gintama tomorrow!!

Ok so Paper Towns is my favorite book of all time. I read it a few years ago after Looking For Alaska. But as soon as I read Looking For Alaska John Green has become my favorite writer. I met a grande total of 2 other nerdfighters at this small camp I went to, and I have to say, it was AMAZING. seriously, besides my cousin, who introduced me, and my legions of tactical minions that i have converted to follow the ways of the nerdfighters and doctor who, along with many other nerd-related things, they were the only other to that i have ever met. French the Llama! it was phenomenal.

This isn't nerdfighter like, but it is funny. I was at a summer camp, and I shared a tent with another girl. I was talking with her, and she mentioned that one of her favorite books was Paper Towns. This is what happened:
Me:"Isn't that by John Green?"

2 years ago I was down at spacecamp in Huntsville and I met an awesome dude from Colorado. I didn't know he was a nerdfighter nor did I even know what that was until I saw that he signed the postcard I got down there with DFTBA. He was awesome and funny and I miss him super bad bc I live near lake Erie! Darn stupid long distance!

Nerdfighter like: I was heading to the MCM Midland expo, Feb 2010. In cosplay of course. On the platform I met a stormtrooper. Not the 501st kind of stormtrooper that are really aresey but just a guy who thought it would be cool, which it was... anyway, this stormtrooper was an awesome guy with REALLY fluffy hair and green eyes who i ended up spending the whole day with... and now, i kinda spend every day with him :3 love you curly, don't forget gintama tomorrow!!

@Draconi42 Funny that you called the 501st aresey cause a couple weeks ago my friend randomly met one while he was working (my friend was working, not the 501st guy) anyway, the 501st guy had a really cool shirt and they talked about it at first then the guy walked away. later the guy came back and litterally gave my friend the shirt cause "They're really hard to get, but, I'm with the 501st, so, I get them for easily"

Ok so Paper Towns is my favorite book of all time. I read it a few years ago after Looking For Alaska. But as soon as I read Looking For Alaska John Green has become my favorite writer. (An Abundance of Katherines was amazing too) and I just wanted to post this comment because I have a sliver of hope John might read it.
