Good thing we spend 5 billion on cancer research each year...
And 935 billion on a useless war...
Way to go Bush & Obama!
What's even more retarded is if you lookup deaths from Cancer vs Terrorists it's something like over a thousand times more likely that you will die from cancer vs terrorism...
amazing what she did, hiding things she made like that.
I cant imagine what she must have went thru, knowing she didn't have much time left. I hope the parents took her to many places to see things and do things before she left us.
This really puts everything into perspective. This Dec. 6th I will be participating in the 28th annual Christmas Party for the children in the Oncology/Hematology Unit @ Childrens Hospital in Oklahoma City. When we started this Christmas Party in 1981, there were 35 children in this unit, today there are over 400.I am truly Blessed and Humbled to be a part of this Christmas Party. Thank-You Pappy Stu for sharing this video with me.
That child must have been very well loved in order to leave that muh love behind. I am awestruck. Then for them to turn their private pain into an opportunity to cure others; good for them. How heartbreaking, yet inspiring.
Very touching story!! Too many children get cancer these days, I have seen more lately than I can even tell.. each and their own a sad story, but also a story of fighting and surviving against the odds! Not all will.. but for each donation to a charity and research, the chances increase for each and every future case, that they will be cured.. My son is doing well, but the fight is far from over!! This video is doing a world of good, if it only makes ONE Person donate some money..
I thought long about your son and family when I made this and avoided refference to you as it is a private matter for you and your family, But I hoped that it might serve you and your Son... Sometimes it seems to me that the worse trials we face in our lives bring us the most fruitful rewards...
Hi Pappy, wow, I'm numb, and not quite sure what to feel more here: Sadness for the little girl's passing, inspiration at her incredible foresight, or empathy for her parents. Finding, or more accurately, looking for the notes in every crevice of their home must have been gut wrenching for them. I wonder why little Elena did that, and if she understood the consequence of her diagnosis. I doubt that I could grasp such news as lovingly as she. Ray
My mind was flooded with all these aspects as well... I think she accomplished far more than myself in a very short time... It is very humbling and at the same time inspiring... What a legacy...
