BLN, Back Light Notification, working on the Nexus S

If you just download BLN from the Android Market and you never flashed your Nexus S, will it work then? or do i need to flash or install some random stuff on my nexus ? (which i don't have experience with.. )

Ok. So I have a nexus s and it is running the MiUi 1.9.9 ROM. I tried doing the SGS kernel flasher method to get BLN to work, but it says miui isnt supported.. is there other way that i can try to get BLN on my nexus s?? THANKS!!

@sarrelangue thats the gestures on the lockscreen included in cyanogenmod7. you can open any app via gesture on the lockscreen or just unlock the phone :)

@1998JackRoberts you need to have BLN added to the kernel that you are using and the bln app(market) for the user interface.

@punjabdasuperman no. because it needs a moddified kernel to work. if that kernel was updated by google/samsung to include the proper components, then it would work
