That's what inquiries do, they look at all sides. The inquiry was critical of the CRU's attitude to FOI requests. But as to data manipulation, suppression of dissent etc - there was nothing there. The report is about 60 pages long, and I urge you to read it. Basing your opinion on denialist spin and conspiracy theories is inadequate.

First face the facts. Yes the earth warms and cools, and previously CO2 has acted as an amplifier not a prime driver. Everyone knows this - even climate scientists! CO2 has become more important over the past several decades as its concentration has risen from 280 to 390ppm. So temps are now higher than they've been for many thousands of years, and they're still rising. We can either try to limit the damage, or shoot the messenger.

Just an FYI, when they are talking about "Mike's nature trick" they are NOT hiding the decline of the temperatures, they are hiding the decline of the APPARENT temperatures as shown by tree rings. That's what inquiries do, they look at all sides. The inquiry was critical of the CRU's attitude to FOI requests. But as to data manipulation, suppression of dissent etc - there was nothing there. The report is about 60 pages long, and I urge you to read it. Basing your opinion on denialist spin and conspiracy theories is inadequate.

CO2 has become more important over the past several decades as its concentration has risen from 280 to 390ppm. So temps are now higher than they've been for many thousands of years, and they're still rising. We can either try to limit the damage, or shoot the messenger.

Amount of hacked emails is over 1G. That is a lot of emails. And people cling on a fistful of emails to declare large scale fraud.
People believe what they want to believe.
Myself, I believe that global warming deniers know that global warming is a fact but they dont care as they perfectly know they wont cope with the consequences.
Once the point of no return is reached, suddenly, people are going to admit global warming.

Thanks to these retarded tree huggers the government have yet another plan to save the world. The Government will give the go-ahead this week for 'smart' energy meters to be fitted in every home. Another excuse for these government parasites to bleed us dry. If we use energy above our carbon footprint limit whatever the fuck that is they will simply slap another tax on top of our already high council taxes. Do the world a favour and slap tree huggers until they can't breathe.

I just want the climate in the UK to get warmer and warmer. Can't believe how many people have been brain washed by these government scientists. All these scientists have a hidden agenda. They are funded by the government and it's in their interest for you idiots to believe them. If there is any truth in climate change then how come the government are allowing more airports to be built and more planes to fly? The government are relying on these green idiots to make them plenty of money.

@spiracy Talking of light bulbs. So-called low energy lightbulbs are anything but green! Low energy light bulbs contain toxic materials, cost more to make, and cost more to dispose of. Some WILL get broken in people's houses, leaving mercury contamination. We heat our houses anyway, so what's the problem with the extra heat from a tungsten filament (non-toxic, cheap to make, cheap to dispose of). This is green fascism at its worst, spouting nonsense and poisoning us along the way.
