I've had my problems with the Draug on dark mode last night, with lvl 24. (finished all the sub-quests so far)

Thats why I watched your video but I could finaly beat him.

3 hits from him and Geralt was dead, I also have the Oathbreaker's set.

I tend to kill monsters before finishing quests. So after killing (a lot) of monsters, getting their orens, items, mutagens, etc and leveling up the smaller your xp reward becomes. When the xp reward becomes low (or nil) then I finish the quests.
