Why...why did I NOT go to her annual Valentine's concert at the Nokia Theatre? I refused to fly to Australia until I saw her show (ticket was for the next day, the 15th) and I decided NOT to go. Eternal regret, a tear in my soul forever :( Love you Lady T Mx

Thank you for sharing this video. Teena had a one in a million voice. What many people don't know about her is that, not only was she a rare and spectacular talent, but she was a humanitarian with a wonderful spirit. Lady T, we will miss you. @vergiebabie I totally feel you. I'm still crying daily over her passing, but I know that she was a gift from God who was sent here to not only bring black and white together, but to tell the world, just as Nancy Wilson did, that Black is Beautiful. She was a true Christian and her art will live on forever, irregardless of the fact that the "industry" didn't give her the props she was due. She knew us true fans/friends LOVED her, and now we have Alia Rose to carry on the torch. :)

Notice he said "the ivory queen of soul"........RE RE probably would've popped through the screen and put his head through a wall;). AND..........this is my absolute, all time favorite song of Teena's. I sing karaoke and this is the song I used to figure out I could hold a 25 second note....lol. OK....let's set the record. I didn't sing this song.......I used it in the privacy of my home......no sense in emptying out the bar;).
