  • Looks like your power company is running a million watt RMS amp!

  • "Ta-dah!" xD

  • try that with 415V

  • Why did you hide behind something, did you think it was gonna go ballistic? LOL

  • IMAGINE the camera falling before it blew up... total fail

  • How did you do that?

  • @lolzusux he pluged it in to the wall

  • TA-DAAAAAA [boom]

  • B0O0OMING BASS

  • tada

  • Press 2 or 8.

  • why not try use 480 or 600 volt could be worse than that

  • he come :D

  • Whats the song?

  • Beiber the speaker assassin

  • its funny i stumbled upon your video. cause your username is ironic. my name is garret and im pooping right now. using my cell phone lol

  • if the camera guy wasnt fucking high on meth while having a ADHD attack we could have actually seen it blow.

  • @13r0thm4g3 The camera fell you idiot.

  • @13r0thm4g3 It fell from the bass...

  • 120 volt? for like 30 years ago we got 110v in sweden ? what year was it u say?

  • what is that like a 6"?

  • no dust cap?

  • damn thats a tough little bastard

  • You should live here: 240V!!! WOOHOO!!!

  • @OldTimeyJunk Ikr!! xD

  • @OldTimeyJunk But lower Amps.so watts is the same :D

  • @CobraProductionsTV watt? :D

  • The justin bieber song!

  • @Emiilz The jsutin bieber cannot even blow an 0.1 w blown speaker

  • @Emiilz Definitely not. Justin Bieber blew the tweeters

  • @kdmq I was just about to say that! lol

  • look at the fire ring in the slow m ode

  • its 110 volt dumb ass

  • very good idea... I approve.

  • Looks like it is having a smoke...

  • Living in --> use positive and negative speaker wire and connect it to an appliances power cord, cut it from like 2 inches away from the head. Try to get a cord that the wores inside it are labeled, all it does is surges the speaker with power. I do love this video cuz of the plasma gun type effect u see when its replayed in slowmo coming from the bulb :)

  • How did u plug it in the wall? i wanna do it tooo ^_^

  • what impedance was that speaker ? 4ohm or 8 ? Did you measure the current?

    at 4 ohm 120 Volt it would consume 30amp*120Volt = 3600Watt, a 8 Ohm would have 1800Watts at 120V

  • Boom HEADSHOT!

  • WIRES WRONG WAY ROUND

  • @sharpshooter14 There's no such thing as "wires wrong way round" in an AC current, fucktard.

  • WIRES WRONG WAY ROUND

  • HAHAHAHA :)) SMOKE :))

  • In Slow-mo It Sounds Like A Machine gun

  • I THING THE SONG NAME IS BASSTRONIC-BASS I LOVE YOU.

  • @MrWillPan You thought wrong. Reread the title. xD

  • @MrWillPan I ain't gonna thumbs that up just because of the font. Thumbs down because your comment was incorrect.

  • well i was looking for a "speaker" i could use as subwoofer.... but if this is what ppl dp with it... :P nice vid anyway ^^

  • Hot music.

  • FART POWA

  • wow, i thought it would have just burnt instantly

  • jajajaahahahahahahahaaaahahahahahahahhaahahhaahhaahah the fucking oscilation is really I canñt stop of laught

  • wtf y dont u give me asshole

  • He shot a sheriff LOL

  • We have 220v In the houses where i live.

  • SIIICK !

  • my daddy has a subwoofer but he would kill me if i did that lol

  • Ohm's law states P=V^2 / R

    (110VAC ^ 2) / 4 ohm = ~3000W RMS

Although the impedance at 50Hz (the lower end of the speaker's frequency range) is probably much lower than 4Ohm.

  • @zl3cat

The actual amount of power that speaker was drawing was closer to 1.6kW, 3kW would have blown the breaker. (assuming a 15A breaker)

Because the "Impedance" of sub-woofers is generally measured at DC it's really just resistance, so take ohms law and throw it out the window, unless you can find the inductance of the voice coil, you can not find impedance, rendering ohms law useless, reactance problems are a bitch. and speaker ratings are worthless.

  • TURNED INTO A PLASMA CANNON. THIS VIDEO IS NOW CLASSIFIED UNDER WEAPONS OF THE US ARMY.

  • 0:14 blue glow in speaker

  • Imagine I'm an asshole that is pretending he knows what he's talking about.

  • check out my video about blowing up DC motor with AC 9V

  • who the fuck cares about the wattage either way the woofer coil wont stand it. Plus 30 ,20 amp blah blah blah. Does not mean shit . If the woofer is drawing less it could be less or more than what the breaker can stand and this little thing wont trip any breaker so its not at the peak of the 15,20 or 30 amp breaker used in this video.

  • @GMELECTRONICS365 actually yeah it does mean shit eddie the outlet wont draw more than its fused/breaker at and i agree a shitty sub like this one wont handle shit so it wont trip a breaker but i bet you i hook one of my subs to an 120v outlet it would just sit there and laugh

  • @jesseadkins187

    Try it.

  • @JakeyCak3z have done it already :)

  • it fires .. wow !!!!

  • try 380 volts

  • That sub woofer still not responding at 60Hz.

  • cool video man. Thanks for sharing :D

  • did it hav a dustcap?

  • lmfao >.< do a 240v heavy appliance outlet now lol

  • tada

  • wow....btw....i'll give you my phone number so next time you wanna blow something up you give it to me ...duh -.-

  • cvol

  • POOF GOES COIL

  • TA-DAA!!

  • u better have fun while the bass go through ur bones and make ur hair stand not to blow it up :(

  • I want to see it blow a smoke ring

  • Ta-da!That what it said lol

  • spectacular

  • Nice how the flames came out

  • man... wall pluging speakers aint fun.

  • how would this look like with our 230 Volts AC?

  • i need a home sub. i got no prob with reg speakers but i need at least i sub

  • u have wires backwards

  • @LolzMan7756 what the hell are you talking about haha ...i wanted to blow it and it does not matter

  • @poopooGarret He's right it would have been better if you connected it right it would have blown outwards not inwards

  • @poopooGarret u no after half a year i just rememberd this is the first vid from u i evar watched!

  • @LolzMan7756 AC has no polarity,idiot

  • @LolzMan7756 In AC it doesn't matter

  • @LolzMan7756 lol he dont no how to set it up

  • @LolzMan7756 it's AC, doen't matter what way you hook it up, it goes both ways.

  • @LolzMan7756 How could you change the wires on AC current?

  • @LolzMan7756 wire backwards? wtf...you retard

  • @slovakmath well, my apologizes but i didn't read the AC in the title, but if it would have been DC then i would be right.

  • @LolzMan7756 wiring a speaker backwards doesn't make a lick of difference, if you wire all your speakers backwards it'll sound the same. numbnuts. it won't blow it.

  • @LolzMan7756 you do understand that sound is a alternating current so it really doesn't matter which way you plug in

  • @sciencething0101 yes id does, if you have it connected right, it pumps out, if connected in the other direction, it pumps in, not much sound difference, but always something

  • @sciencething0101 the only thing you have to make sure of with audio wiring is that the speakers are all in phase with each other.

  • @LolzMan7756 lol you can't wire ac current backwards, because it alternates between positive and negative, now dc, you can get backwards...

  • @LolzMan7756

A speakers wires can be in any direction

  • @LolzMan7756 so he acomplished wat he wanted to

  • NIce i have not seen something like that sence i was on the boad aircraft carrier and we pluged in the gen.s huge loud speaker to the reactor hell ya i dont think it even lasted that long lol it was like pop bang!! who got shoot lol ny im 32 n its been a wile nice!!

  • ... sounds like my 90 year old senile grandma taking a shit.

    "TA DA!" *bbbbrrrttt*

  • sounds like the windows 3x startup sound with alot of bass XD

  • "ta-da!"

  • u really plugged that into a 120volt outlet LMAO, damn u want to burn ur house down

  • @mecca421 you plug things into 120volt outlets everyday.

  • rolfcopter

  • whats is namber the music?

    THE_BRYAX_TUNING

  • hahaa sounds like it says "ta-da!" XD

  • @flamesormordor, LOL it actually does, then it pops xD

  • @flamesofmordor

    Hilarious

  • @flamesofmordor

oh man i was reading your komment and begin to laugh thats funny and so right, i love this ^^

  • @flamesofmordor ta da....poop.

  • @flamesofmordor or TA-DAAA.... POOFTT!!

  • @flamesofmordor " Ta-Da " , Then Dies

  • BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ POP

  • sickest sub death ever

    looks like a fucken cannon

  • best ever

  • 240v uk wall socket would fry it quicker tho.

  • my 440v 3 phase garage setup would explode it.

  • haha yer true

  • de asta am io da ala ii dobitoc ca lo ars , ce dobitoc , il am si merge fff bine

  • The way I wall socket speakers is: I put the wires into a power bar and then just swtich one the power bar, and BOMMZZ!

I also recommend doing it outside for the bigger speakers simply because the now well done voice coil does not smell really that good. :p

  • that was fast ^^

  • lol..it busted tht quik

  • That would be about 3600 Watts RMS... not many speakers could handle that

  • @crudip man,since I'm in Europe,what freq your AC is? Ours is 50-60 Hz

  • @MrEinstain Since he's from Newzealand I think he has 230V/50Hz.

  • @crudip where did you get 3600 from ?

  • @fleszpolska Assuming the driver is 4ohm it's correct. If it was 8ohm (entirely possible for home theater gear) it would be 1800W RMS, still far more than most speakers could handle.

  • @fleszpolska

    Americans have 32a/110v circuits.

  • @crudip how do you figure 3600 watts if it was a 15 amp breaker it would be around 1800 watts and if it was 20 amp breaker it would be around 2400 watts how many household elec. panel has a 30 amp breaker in it?

i dont recall him saying how many amps. hes drawing.. unless i missed something

  • @jesseadkins187 I used 230v instead of 120... don't ask why I must have been wasted at the time.

  • @crudip ohh i see yeah thats a different story

  • @jesseadkins187

Voltage divided by coil resistance = current. Then voltage x current = power.

  • @weejimmymehrts you get that off of 12 volt . com looks copy and pasted

  • @jesseadkins187

Nope, own words. Its just basic electrical theory.

  • @crudip Ohm's Law states otherwise

  • how did you connect it to the wall socket?

  • YES!

  • haha, the subwoofer didn't say bom bom bom anymore, it said poof! haha

  • The Black Eyed Peas got it right: "Boom, Boom, POW!!"

  • Whizzer Cone: poor man's tweeter, lol

  • where do you see whizzer cones??

  • WTF a whizzer cone? You shoulda made a frugal horn out of the puppy.

  • Whizzer cone? What?

  • that gold piece in the center...separates different soundstages of low and high frequency...google it im sure it'll help you out.

  • Ohhhh. It looks kinda like it, but its not. The dust cap is off, so you are seeing the driver and the pole for the voice coil. The driver is farther back then the front of the voice coil, so it looks like it is something like a whizzer cone. Also, a whizzer cone is actually another smaller cone that goes out from the dust cap. It is like a coaxial speaker. It produces the more mid to highs. But in the long run, no subwoofer has whizzer cones, because subwoofers are meant to play low frequencies.

  • o i see now...i was watching low quality and didnt look to close...and thanks for the lesson but i already know about that shit...i should as i get paid for it..

  • i think the old school cerwin vega strokers have the whizzer cone.

  • puzzle solved

  • thats the magnet, the dust cap is off

  • no its the voice coil einstien...srsly it is

  • the SILVER piece is the coil the gold piece the magnet.

    think before you write shit.

  • Ok you don't work on this shit for a living so you can shut your mouth son. Magnets are not gold idiot. They are black. Google it because you obviously don't know what you're talking about.

  • magnets can be many different colors buddy not just black

  • Magnets are metal/iron. GTFO my intenrets.

  • Right What is your point?

  • Metal/iron is this color. Not pure black but just black.

  • its actually the former that holds the voice coil winding.

  • @kskate91 the silver is the dust cap, underneath the dust cap is the copper wound coil, underneath that is a usually black magnet.

  • technically the voice coil is copper not silver you dumb shit. It might be wrapped onto former but a coil refers to the wire.

  • but its still not the magnet !

i guess your the "dumb shit" loo

  • exactly where did i ever mention a magnet? think before you type or stop breeding with your siblings.

  • u recon is will look cooler with 230v AC?

  • That was pretty sweet dude!
