  • tis is good, may I ask how old you are?

  • @noigirl Thank you very much. We don't like revealing our ages online for privacy reasons. Sorry. I have made another version of this soliloquy if you would like to check it out! :)

  • @SparsileStars Ahh okay no worries . yes i watched it i like them both, the second seems more considerd, but i feel your more in the moment in this one.

  • @noigirl Well, thanks so much for watching both of them and giving that wonderful piece of feedback! :)

  • Exuberant !

  • @liwainstitut Thanks for watching.

  • Nice work on this, but do heed the good critique by @ruzickaw. His recommendations are solid, specifically your not looking at the camera. If you can, get someone to work the camera for you and actually have the camera follow you as you deliver this, perhaps pacing a bit. This is someone speaking to herself, she wouldn't be pleading so much as decrying the misery of her situation. It's a great selection, and you've got the right emotions at play, but it can be played in a less conventional way.

  • @jasonsanto Thanks for such an in-depth comment. I took @ruzickaw's suggestion as well as others (some conflicting) and made an improved soliloquy. The link to that is in the description box. I appreciate your feedback.

  • Lisa, it is a little better than the first version. But still, there is no need to cry so much. Dónt look into the cameraLook away.. Say it more to yourself. and more inside than outside.. Have more pity with Hamlet than with yourself. Only feel frustrated. Only two lines are refering to you:

I was rejected, i sucked the honey of his vows. You can say that nearly voiceless. It hurts you so much that you cannot even cry.

  • @ruzickaw Thank you for watching the new video. I appreciate the time you have given watching and commenting on my videos! :) Also, do you think, if you haven't done so already, you could watch our channel's video: "COVER CONTEST - Temporary Fix - Veronica Balletrini" and "like" the video? Please share that to your friends (facebook OR youtube) and tell them to like the video! :) Thanks! If you cannot do so at this time, we totally understand!! No pressure!! :)

  • @ment2bmax Thank you very much for such a nice comment. I'm glad that you liked it! :)

  • overall good job on using emotion, just remember to keep yourvoice up even when you are playing hurt or angry, also i know you are on camera, but this is a stage play so really physicallize the emotion of what the character is feeling

  • @ByronJamesShow Thank you very much for watching and commenting. The feedback you have is VERY helpful. Thank you. I think that I will redo this video to incorporate the wonderful suggestions people have given me.

  • Shakespheare is always difficult to play, read, or listen to especially with those who Are not familiar with it. Just general notes i would sa is that u really need to use voice variety, meaning when you talk normally you usually put emphisis on words u really want to get heard to make a point, u must really do this with shakespeare bcuz of the lack of understanding for most ppl, watch your articulation and anunciation when u play sad really project even tho u are trying to play it softer

  • @richleeuo Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. Thank you. Your thoughts are very helpful to hear. Thank you! :) - Lisa

  • Lisa, although I've read Shakespeare, I am not particularly well informed on how to perform his work. I find khorseshoe2's comment about stage versus screen acting constructive and thoughtful. My gut reaction to your monologue is that it was very passionate and relayed a sincere commitment to staying in character. I'd say you should pursue this further.

  • @Dahlingable Thank you. I will go check that out now! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment! :) - Lisa

  • Lisa, I think it is very good. I am not a trained Shakespeare actor but it is British. I do know the way Shakespeare wrote it,it was not to have pauses, whereas in Method or other forms of plays pauses done with expression or body movement are anticipated. I think his work is almost like reciting poetry. I did love your passion :D Watch Dame Judith Dench if you want to be blown away by Shakespeare. She really understood how to play it. Keep up the good work ! ~Blessings~

  • @KanFilmProductions Thanks so much! It is one of my favorites as well! :) Thanks for watching and commenting! - Lisa

  • Hamlet is one of my favorite works of Shakespeare I believe you did the part of Ophelia Justice I liked it very well done :D

  • Well, are you looking to do stage acting or screen acting? I'm going to presume stage because it's Shakespeare! You have really strong emotion and clarity which is perfect for stage acting!! (I'd say it was a bit overboard and in your face for screen acting) you have such a good tone in your voice for this piece! You were very direct and that's good because you came off as honest. I would say you need a touch more gesture. If you're on stage it helps to have a couple gestures to convey your cha

  • @khorseshoe2 Thank you so much for that in-depth comment! I've only done stage acting, so I have no experience with screen acting. Thanks for the feedback. I agree with the gesture suggestion. That was very helpful! Thanks! :)

  • Cool!!
