More phrases in RB corresponds almost exactly with a higher optimal score. On a graph, you have a fairly smooth curve. Therefore for the sake of argument, it can be assumed that more phrases == higher score.

Vocals actually on average give a slightly higher cumulative score than any other instrument across the whole game, and comparing vocals to any combination of instruments makes even less sense than comparing them with any one other instrument. So no, this IS a relatively high score for RB.
