  • One day people will realise the truth, that this song is FAR more brilliant than any of the cheap, trashy ditties put out by chancers like Bob Dylan or John Lennon and that Robin Askwith was and is a vastly superior character actor than Lord Olivier, Robert De Niro or Marlon Brando. Excuse me...I have to go and eat more crayons now

  • this man put the bomp in the bomp de bomp and was found guilty of not cleaning windows proper, and neglecting duties

  • Marc Bolan died in a car accident in 1977, the same year this song was released. 2 of the greatest disasters to hit the music world that year.

  • lol

  • My mate Mickey was driving to work and he actually saw Bolan's mini crashed into the tree

  • @Retardis It was his only hit in the late 70s.

  • Robin Askwith is a great actor!

  • I've just noticed that this video has been seen by 8,262 people, which is 8000 more people than ever saw it in the cinema!

  • its actually from a TV show though, so make that 8,262 more people.

  • Love the films, i wish they had made more them!

  • Love all the films, i wish they had made more of them!

  • Robin is the man!

  • Brilliant stuff! I met Robin once on the island of Gozo, where he lives, and he said Marc Bolan (of T-Rex) persuaded him to make this record (I had a T-Rex t-shirt on at the time!). This TV appearance was in fact on Marc Bolan's show in 1977.

  • robin askwith made the seventies what it is today

  • "Doy introduced me to her best friend, a rather stunning fourteen year old model called Lesley-Ann Down. The three of us sped through Richmond Park in a Triumph Herald, roof down, The Cream screaming out 'Sunshine of your Love' on the 8-track"

-From the book 'The Confessions of Robin Askwith' (The LEGEND that is!)
