@greymilton The best way would be to use a laptop and a projector as you can display on the screen for the class. The text would be easy to show using the device and have personally tried it at the library to scan some pages. I know that smart boards are used in some classrooms and wondering if this could be used with that application as well. I remember a device called an Elmo that was a higher end version of this. Not sure on exact name.
@projectgadget Great thanks for the information. I have a IPEVO and am always looking at new and engaging ways to use it with my laptop and data projector. I especially like the way the IPEVO lets you zoom in on objects to get a closer look! Great for science as a 'giant magnifying glass' to examine objects etc...
It is! You have the ability to get close on an object and with the right application becomes a cool way to share ideas with others. From the moment I opened had to plug it in! thx
@IPEVOINC Is it able to record video w/in your program? Or do you have to set it up so that you record the screen while you're running the picture software...?
@projectgadget Alright thanks, and does the included software come with drivers so that you would be able to use it with another screen recording program like Screenflow?
@TechTeenagerTV the drivers were just for the camera and have used on both a pc and mac. As long as you can select a camera to use with screenflow it would most likely work. For example it worked with Skype. Good luck and thanks for stopping by.
Cool. How could this be used in the classroom by teachers? I know it could be used for displaying pictures from texts etc... what else?

@TechTeenagerTV you can use it as a camera to record from but sound is a different story as you would need a separate microphone.
