@Michiyoyoshiku: I have no problems with someone trying to make a 'living' or 'wrestling.' Nothing against any one individual in particular. I'm speaking more, in general, over the 10+ year history of CZW and what the brand itself represents and what it has tried to accomplish/spread.

ECW gave us violence, realism, technical prowess, high flyers, japanese hard hitters, memorable characters, emotion tugging storylines, it gave us a whole lot of great shit. ECW gave us a bit of everything.

The ones who truly brought hardcore to a wider audience were Dusty Rhodes/old-school NWA & FMW out of Japan. ECW was a great mish-mesh of everything that people are still trying to recreate to this day. ...People still trying to recreate something almost 20 years old -- should tell you about the lack of ideas today.
@KRIMEMOBER Clearly you don't understand ECW the way REAL wrestling fans understand it. Sure, it had it's jokes like Sandman, but every wrestling company has it's jokes. At least nobody in ECW had a generic gimmick, a stupid storyline, and put on shows for dead, disrespectful crowds.
btw, when I said it would never "truly" die, I meant what it stood for will never die for it's fans. Heyman and the crew created magic that'll never forgotten. Period.

ive been to czw as a kid when it was in mantua new jersey, and it sucked then and it sucks now. the talent thats goes in there some can be good but most blow. matches are gay and boring and they try to hard to be like ecw or try an top ecw. ECW is hardcore! czw is fuckin pointless
@TooBrutalOrTheFuture He's right. Its in Jersey on the 13th of this month. And will hopefully be in Maple Shade NJ in July for an event I'm putting together for breast cancer.
