Do you consider necromage vampires a glitch in their own right? I don't want to use glitches, but I really want to use this method so if it is, I may as well use a flamer helmet.

@milkychipz - i think the helmet stacking is a glitch but necromage does exactly what it says it will. since you're a vampire, you are undead, and this perk makes spells more effective against the undead. while it feels shady, it really isn't a bug. 2 helmets & 3 helmets are, though.

@GaryisaRoach you need to kill a dragon to get it's soul, and then you have to go over the shout and use the soul to unlock it

Vampire + Atronarch stone + Atronarch perk (alteration tree) + Necromage = NO DAMAGE FROM SPELLS,

This includes ALL DRAGON BREATH ATTACKS. You absorb 100% of the magic used and also you can fully refill magicka bar by using circle of protection (still not sure how this works, as it is glitched - sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, haven't figured it out yet).

I wish I had a capture card for my console so that I could show videos that are more convincing to people seeing that in the PC you could just use console commands. But anyways you can become both Lycan and Vampire, timing your stage changes while drinking the blood would do it. Also, Lycans do not entirely have 100% immunity to disease, I contracted rockjoint from a sabercat, I wanna say I can confirm it but I'll have no proof >.>

To feed, I just fast travel to the Alchemist's Shack before I do anything. It has the bonus of having storage (end table w/ the journal on it does not respawn).

The benefits of becoming a necromage vampire are very cool. And just for upgrading your gear alone I would try it (for a while). But the thing that still bugs me is that at level 4 vampire it is very hard to get and do quests as all npc's will attack you on sight. There isn't anything to do to this, except for curing the vampirsm?

@pms00 Oh, I will. When I'm done max leveling Restoration to get the Necromage benefit I will make my character a vampire.

What did you mean with preventing changing the levels? A vampire can be at level 1 for as long as I like? If NPC's won't attack level 1 vampires I might concider it a permanent change.

@Leto85 - correct. every time you feed on a sleeping NPC, you are reset to level 1. the easy method for this instead of trying to break into homes is just keep a follower with you. tell them 'i need you to do something' and interact with a bed or bedroll then feed on them.

@TheMegatraum Not misleading, I tried it in my first play of the game because I wanted to see if you could be a vamp werewolf. If you are a vampire and you become a werewolf, you aren't a vampire anymore

i touched the arkay shrine with fortify lots of restoration and i can spam my shouts :D, it doesn't go away when the fortify restoration goes away too, it disappears after 7 real life hours

So how does this work do i have to use a restoration spell and then things start working? or does it just work when you have vampirism and necromage.

@Firdaush0 - you don't need restoration. this is different. it works with just becoming vampire and having the necromage perk.

@voipification - you can't be both. one or the other. when you get werewolf, you are immune to vampire & when you are a vampire and become a werewolf, your vampirism is cured.

it is something about becoming werewolf at the transition of stage 1 or 3 to 2 or 4 or something like that

I think the only annoyance of being a Vamp is to keep feeding. Any showing of how to keep fed would be really helpful i think. Not sure what others think.

@Jimboola - check out my other vampire videos in my vampire playlist. the easiest trick is to tell your follower 'i need you to do something' and then have them lay down on any bed in a dungeon, bedroll, or at your house. no reason to hit stage 4 with a follower, ever.

I'm curious if you have tested this while being a vampire and getting one of the permanent bonuses. It should be relatively easy to measure the increase of Dwarven Armor effectiveness from Ancient Knowledge. I figure you would have to obtain the buff while being a necro vampire to be able to note any kind of change, much like the other effects you show.

@Larnac I think that Ancient Knowledge is bugged and instead, it benefits all armors, not just dwarven

Quick tip: if you're a vampire, and want to change back for some reason, you can skip the cure quest once by doing the companion questline and becoming a werewolf, however as far as I know, werewolves are uncurable, so you can't be a vampire again.

you can "heal" lycantrophy by finishing the companions questline you just have to throw a witch head on a bonfire and kill the spirit wolf that will leave out of your body, once doing that you can never become a werewolf again unlike vampirism that can be contracted again after being cured.

Do you consider Barbas the best follower? His unkillable, an awesome decoy and attracts enemies even powerful ones. So basically you're able to spam enemies without them harming you. Problem is his incredibly annoying follower he attracts enemies always detects you so sneaking basically fails and tends to trap you a bunch of times.

If you're a lower level, leveling up or not making a assassin character his really beneficial. IMO.

of course, if you contracted sanguinaire vampires, just go to a shrine and get healed, if your S.V evolved into vampirism, go to the nearest inn and ask for the rumors they will metion a guy named Falion on Morthal, just go there and take the quest.
