The original version from NG was made using samples (including the overused James Brown/Lyn Collins sample from "Think About It."). The drum breaks are also samples in the '99 remix. That is why sound quality is lower in the other mixes.

This mix sounds like it was made in FL Studio or Reason using stock synths and drum kits. Thus it sounds cleaner.
