I've been thinking about covering this since like past year. Still haven't bothered to learn the solos :c But still, this just as badass as the original DOOM soundtracks by Bobby Prince.
i didn't mind TNT's levels but i did think that there were a lot of narrow or confined areas that lead to unavoidable damage but all worth it for the music.
I'm normally not one to say crap like this, but I think the guy whoever rated this disagree is a hardcore Halo junkie and shivers in fear whenever he hears this and sees Doom.
is there a band that plays this or it was created a musician from ID cuz damm this one is badass even when you play the game i only turn off the sounds to listen to the music jeje
Hey got a question, I have Doom Evilution and have started playing it again recently (lol largely coz of your videos getting me back into the older doom games0,and I noticed something about the version you have on youtube. Did you like enhance the songs a little bit or get them from somewhere besides the game files? They sound better on here than in the actual game (yours have a little more bass and less of a midi song sound to them. Just wondering because I'd like to have these more. Thanks!
That's the way .mid files work, which is what these songs' format is.
Midi is just text or notes that tell your soundcard what kind of tones to play, each type of 'instrument' sounds the same, except for different heights, if you know what I mean.
If you have a different Soundcard, the sound can be totally different, but it's still the same song, just different sounds, a drum is a drum, but it may sound in another way on other comps.
The .mp3 has the same tones as the card when changed from .mid
@SlapEveryJew I'm playing through it for the first time on Skulltag right now. I like most of the levels ok, but it's total bullshit when to pass an area, you have to stand in a certain place and shoot an obscure target in the back of the room. It's like, who the hell would think to do that?
I love Doom, can still remember when i was sitting and playing this as a 5 years old boy =) this was the first game i played (together with Duke Nukem 3D) and the reason i became kinda like a gamernerd

DOOM TNT has kickass music!

I really liked the levels of TNT Evilution. They had a good atmosphere. The music helped with that as well.
I really liked the general design of Plutonia, as well as Plutonia 2.
Deus Vult 2 was ridiculously sexy, and not to talk about Crucified Dreams.
ThatMan0verThere 9 months ago
Hell Revealed II and Scythe 2 have the best level design with Speed of Doom and Plutonia 2.
TNT on the other hand had sexy atmosphere and I consider it the coolest wad.
Puppy41H 10 months ago
which megawads do u think have the best level design?
MartianManhunter1987 11 months ago
@MartianManhunter1987 in my opinion, Deus Vult 2

You don't have to upload plutonia. It uses the soundtracks from doom and doom 2

My favorite Doom -music track is maybe ''At Doom's Gate''.
MAP08/27/30 is also nice tune.
ToxicBarrel 3 years ago
"At Doom's Gate" is the music track for E1M1 of the original Doom. This track playing here is officially named "Sadistic".
And the music track which plays in MAP08/27/30 of TNT Evilution is named "Into The Beast's Belly".

This tune is my favourite of Evilution.
