plants voice in zeppelin1 and 2 is so fucking awesome, just pure raw blues. as zeppelin went on i think he lost his voice or something in '71 and he never regained that rawness , don't get me wrong hes still fuckin awesome just these earlier days were the best for his voice

@persbol I believe it was on tour in Japan in '72 when Plant started losing his voice. Not too long after they recorded the songs for Houses of the Holy.

@TheSubstituteGnome Robert got nodules on his vocal chords. then in 1974 or 75 he had them removed. it is common after have nodules removed that a sing will not be the same. that's why many singers don't bother having them removed.

Bands now days have lost what making music is all about. Realize first your an artist. Then give up your ego and work hard at putting something down that you would be proud to show off. Takes discipline and practice. Your only as strong as your weakest link. Here, there are no weak links.
