Not too tricky when you know your camera, but holding it way under the platform made me nervous. Infectious bacteria in their toothy bite and they aren't very friendly!
I wasn't sure because there are other banded watersnakes (northern, banded, brown, midland) I considered diamondback but couldn't make out the pattern, but now I do see the 'tops' of the diamonds along his backbone! (like the letter 'x') ...best seen at 1:15
Yep, diamondback. Awesome underwater footage!!!! Were you swimming or just blindly sticking the camera underwater?

Actually, it's a diamonback watersnake. It's non-venomous but they don't like being messed with as you can see from the video.
