  • Found him going in the UAE Derby in 2008 as well. After that, nothing.

  • He was in the Pensylvania Derby in 2008, he finished 12th.

  • horses don,t see the way we do.That why they do that stuff even in a show arena they do that.Flight from a what ever thing out there.Trails they behave like that too.I hope no one hurt him after

  • just amazing woohoo what a run XD

  • holy shit! D: what the fuck what a damn come back haha! GOD THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AMAZING TO SEE LIVE!! OH MAN!!

  • Wow! That is so crazy. He actually boltedt to the outside and finished in 1st still. Who knows why he swerved but it didnt matter to him! What a runner! O.O

  • god

  • Wow I didn't know this was the same Numaany who is at Hasting Park. He's a really cool horse. :-)

  • he is not racing in claiming, the condition for that races was, horses that not start in less than 8 thou claiming can fit in the race, and that was a starter allowance = no caliming race!

  • An unprofessional call, but funny. xD He probably got bored and distracted, combined with spooking, but he really listened to his jockey

  • can anybody tell me if this horse is a stallion?

  • He's racing at Hastings in Vancouver. Dropped all the way to 8000 and is now running in the Marathon Series. He's still a classy lookin dude.

  • ESPN reports that Numaany is now racing in $8000 claimers at Hastings park.

  • Very cool horse!

(xxCaseyBirdxx) ... Not every TB is a born racer and winner! Thousands don't make it past their first few trial races. A horse like this one is special...great charisma and spirit.

  • he could have been spooked and what a horse, he really opened up his stride to win, he certainly a special horse, i hope his owners keep him close and treat him well, he will be one to watch truly amazing horse <3

  • it is in their blood 2 race and 2 try to win

thoroughbreds are not afraid of whips because they have been with them mostly every day of their life (when they are grown up enough 2 race)

    <3 <3 <3

  • That was simply STUNNING. That was inhuman how he just got back in there and sped up.

  • He runs today at Aqueduct.

  • ahh he spooked 'cause of the whip. but awesome recovery!

  • This horse ran in this race in November 0f 2007, and never ran in the Kentucky Derby. He ran overseas in Dubai in March of 2008 and now has returned to the US and in running in New York.

  • that is so cool this horse will be in the kentucky derby

  • Unbelievable!

  • this horse just won an allowance at saratoga and is racing in the pennsylvania derby

  • That was Numaany (2005 ch. c., A. P. Indy x Munaaya (Nijinsky)).

On the up side, he lived up to the Bold Ruler-line rep for pulling off one stupefying performance in a career. On the down side, ditto.

  • This horse raced in the UAE derby

  • WTF?!

That was even amazing that he could make up that much lost ground!

    Does anyone know what happened?!

    That was amazing!

  • I lost the audio in translation, but Jason Blewitt from Thoroughbred Action added his two cents. He thought he saw the starting gate which startled him a little. Nonetheless, it is simply amazing after basically slowing to a walk to gather himself and win GOING AWAY. Incredible stuff.

  • what legends ,the two off them

  • He's a very good jockey he could keep his horse's strength for the finish and the horse is very good too

  • Funny though cause I thought this horse had a world of potential, I haven't heard of him racing at all since then. I track him in my Equibase Virtual Stable and nothing.

  • he ran in dubai after this race

  • Makes total sense being he's owned by the Arabs (Darley, I believe)

  • @Dougalfield He just posted a workout on March 24, maybe we`ll see more of him soon. :)

  • who on that horse

  • Javier Castellano was the jock riding him that day.

  • wow lol thats amazing hahaha

  • wow this is unbelievable

  • Good job to the jock getting him focused again and bringing him right back.

  • Ya, Castellano is a great jock and really did an incredible job on this.

  • yes he is a two year old.

it's like seeing silver train racing.

    my godd!

  • he is a 3 year old

  • What a huge stride Numaany has. Wow.

  • A true AP Indy colt, his strides are tremendous. No doubt about it

  • that sure is a beautiful horse!

  • wow.

    thats all i can say.

i have my eyes set on War Pass and HIM now!

    =]

  • Kinda odd with the Derby now over that this horse has pulled a disappearing act. I have no clue what he's up to. Obviously missed the Derby (as did War Pass)

  • he beat the field twice in one race! is he a two year old?

  • good god this little bastard needs blinkers. jock might as well have gone for a hot dog he was so bloody wide... and it seems like he stopped going forward and just went sideways

  • Unbelievable!

  • WOW
