  • Dont drink and smoke weed and youll be 104.

  • He got to use that grave stone!

  • HOLY EARS!

  • @As3sinoL0C0 Don't worry, your ears will look just like that when you're older. Your nose and ears appear larger when you're older. Something about the cartilage, as well as the fact that skin loses elasticity as we age, so it stretches. Ear lobes tend to increase in length with age. So, if you think his ears are big... just wait and take a look in the mirror when you get up there in years. ;)

  • @tawboyle Oh trust me my ears are gonna be twice that size. I got some dumbo ears right now I can't imagine in 50 years what they'll be like.

  • @DarkFlaze Poor guy? He lived to be 106! Now that's some life right there!

  • @DarkFlaze So the license did outlast him :/ I realize when people say things like that, it's a kind of hint to what is to come. I don't know if you agree. My grandfather said on his birthday back in April of 2004, "I feel this is going to be my last Birthday". He died in August of 2004.

  • @Hermoor unless he met them when he was 80.

on the drinking, sure you might live longer, but would you want to live very long if you couldn't drink?

  • that was cool, his memory is like mine, but i guess i'm a pothead.

  • Always good to see lucid, cognizant, productive senior citizens.

Good job also for CBS to put forth a 'feel good' story amid all the horror and strife that often looks for ratings.

  • I bow down to you, sir :o)

  • Because you shouldn't need to drink to have a good time Angst?

  • wow

  • Bless him!!! I am 25 and wish I had that much spirit and life. I work in a nursing home and am surrounded by elderly people daily, I love to see them have spirit and life. I would love to meet this man! :D God Bless Mr. McBurney :D

  • God Bless America.

  • Thats awsome that hes still working at that age

  • God bless that man. Thats incredible.

  • He might be the oldest living harmonica player too!

I want to hear him play some more !

  • Who the hell wants to live til' 104 anyway?

  • hey, I've met 30 year olds with worse memory problems. Kudos to that guy!

  • :o)

    marry me waldo!

  • I sure don't wanna live that long! It would be really sad!

  • Wowwwww.... I'm happy to see a healty person that reached 104...but it's kinda sad to see how many people that had gone by before him... I don't know if he feels lonely or not, but I'm sure that he has many friends in that town.

  • Who the hell wants to live to 104 anyway?

  • This guys looks like a really great guy and all, but a license at 104?

  • My grandfather got this award a couple years ago at 102 years old!

  • WTF he was like 43 during the war

  • That put a lump in my throat.

  • What a great man!!! this is an example for every person

  • What's the point of being 104 when you havent drunk, or lived.

  • Drinking does nothing but destroy your body.

  • True that. Quality over quantity any day.

  • DRINKING IS LIFE?

  • I really, reaaally hope you're just kidding, if not, you're pathetic.

  • thats the point, he 104 because he hasnt done that shiite, more power to him, you dont need that (drinking, etc.) to "live, you just think you do

  • Er, what so great about drinking? How do you know he hasn't lived?

  • oh he lived alright

  • If you need to get drunk to have a good time, you should really consider other alternatives for the sake of your liver. >_>

  • whats the point of being dead at 50 when you have drunk and smoked?

  • so much word on that one..

He should seriously get out there and party his last years off.

  • What's the point of being 45 when you drunk so much and now you got liver cancer

  • yeah because drinking really is life's number one key to fun?

  • Use it or loose it... he did live... and still does!

  • Drinking does not equal living.

  • AngstFisch, drinking is very overrated. I was a very heavy drinker and got bored with it fast. It's fun at first, but eventually you just end up treating it like your "morning coffee" (just in the evenings mostly). Was to a point where I could knock back quite a lot and still not even have a buzz, THAT is not fun. And the misery that health problems will cause you due to drinking will make even a short life suck.

  • 1902-19**

    :)

  • i agree. haha. he outlived his tombstone, and still movin around. i'm rooting for him to make 'oldest living man' one day. :P

  • Wow! What a person. I'm gobsmacked at how active and agile he is!

  • gobsmacked lmao
