its never perfect. look at old Disney films. they have worse flaws lol but they are still amazing. as for the repeated clips and off mouth movements. the movie was made for Japanese audio, not English. They spent more time than normal animating mouth movements in this, so it's impossible to match English words to it. I haven't seen the Japanese version, but my guess for the repeat clips was the dubbers trying to fit all the dialogue in it. Maybe. Not sure about that. But so what? Still good :)
@TheWriterxxx5 I hope it isn't too late but their might be a twice as better quality out their. I saw a music video of Dante's inferno with an HD quality but it didn't say in the description where he or she found the movie. I could look for the original video but not right now. I'm too busy. Later okay?
why is he drawn differantly in every circle? i watch the complete movie twice and everytime i notice that within each circle is animation changes...note his hair armor and even weapon changes everytime...he also go from skinny to very thin then becomes really musclular wonder what is that about
@ojibbwa That's why there where like 6 different groups of people working on the Animated Epic. All 6 groups where different and made their parts almost independently
A lot of these 'flaws' show up in lots of animes. A lot of them are a technique, and most of them don't even detract from the quality of the experience like that monologue at the end. It was more a choice of visual rather than laziness. I mean what else would they show while he drones?
yes i did see the flaws as well and yes lazy .. i watched spawn the animated series and the hide spawn behind his cap or just show his yes in the dark for like 90 % of the time =(
oops he went through Dante because more than one person with their diffrent style of art worked on this movie but I do have to agree on you that the way his mouth moved didn't match the words he was saying
Even watching it the first time, I noticed way more things than you pointed out here. Over all, not bad though the mistakes bothered me. Atleast the game was epic. :D
Dude all anime/animated things use the same mouth movements or they'd take effing forever, but I see your point, they dont do it well. Is it over all a good film though?
I believe many of us are patience enough even for the second edition of the game to be released,so limited time of making is not an excuse, quality comes first.
i'm disappointed from the first moment i know that its such an anime(well there are many awesome anime movie),the game is simply fantastic, almost every effect is perfect, and i expected the movie to surpass the game.
When I heard they were making a film based on the game, I went mental with hype... Then I heard it was an anime... They should have made it live action, cgi, or animation that's not anime, it dosn't mix.
yeah but probably all that lazyness was because they had a limited time to finish it... but I must admit, that mistake with the bloddy tears is a lil lame
@Tragrets Me and a buddy watched this movie :L it was so full of rubbish it almost hurt! like when he just runs trough the door instead of opening it! how he goes trough a extreme-make-over from scene to scene, how his Scythe becomes more and more like something else :L you didnt pick any good ones! you should have picked out the MAJOR flaws... but yea, it is kinda über fail to use the same clip over and over again ! xD
@gigijaponezu I never said it wasn't hard to make an anime, just showing the flaws in it that's all. So I am not being an ass for showing stuff most people don't see.
the same clip in Satan spoke...sure! doesn´t need to do something else than being there speaking..he is Satan!! :D

Minor flaws that barely interfere in general experience. The major fail is of your part ^^

I thought this movie was pretty good, despite the corny script.

I understand your argument, and really wish I could see the whole movie here without having to pay for it.

Please after growing up with shows like DBZ I wouldn't even count this among the top ten most lazy animations I've seen.

Lazyness? Do you have an idea of how those things are being made? I tryied it myself

also, the animators probably were dubbing for japanese, thus the animation was hard to adapt for english.

wow honestly if you make a video of this you have to be kidding such harsh judgemnet of a great anime

Regardless of the budget for the animation there is no excuse for bad storytelling; just listening to the dialogue makes me cringe.

Fraud circle contained the most fail, poorly animated and drawn; minus the part where the assassin killed his family, that part looked fairly decent.
