  • @Audinos Yeah, I disputed the copyright notice they sent me to no avail...I thought the same thing.

  • @jpcguy Rossini died 143 years ago and his music is public domain.

  • The William Tell Overture is perfect for this beautiful, hyperactive cat.

  • @Audinos Unfortunately it also prevents me from monetizing this popular video because of copyright issues. But it's just too perfect for me to change the music!

  • dog attack 1:00 lol

  • I love abys!! they're so cute and active and social (a)

  • annoying music but awesome cat

  • i have a bengal, thinking of buying an abissnian. do you think they will get along?

  • the hair of this breed look like a cougar

  • We breed Abyssinians... they call it Aby Addiction!! Such lions of love!!

  • We have been breeding them for years... they are the most AMAZING felines!!

What beautiful color yours has!! How old is Stewie.. GREAT name!! Thanks for sharing!!

  • Ninja kitty 1:06-1:09

  • New Development. Stewie has mysteriously disappeared several times recently. I have discovered how. He's been sleeping. UNDER the couch. 0.o

  • I swear, at 1:10 he waits for the camera to focus...

  • Gotta LOVE Abyssinians!! They have the best personalities!! I have been breeding them for almost 10 years now... Stewie is wonderful!

  • Lol, your Idea to put this music to neurotic Stevie’s antics is priceless, lol. i definitely had fun watching and laughing along with the video clips of Stewie playing and being a general wild kitty, lol. I’m guessing he had about five or six cups of kitty coffee (or whatever form that is for a cat if you know what I mean, wink, and lol) that day because man he was really going off that day. But then again I hear that Abby’s in general are maniacs, lol. Peace and love my friend: Allison

  • my aby sucks her tail, and it's totally nasty!! She's at work with me right now, being angelic... she will turn into the anti-christ later... I'm positive

  • Top vid thank you Mx

  • Aby's are just like that... I miss my Miss Magoo so much, she was an amazing little girl, so smart and bright, loved playing with all the things she shouldn't have, and loved snuggling with mum ( me) lol.. she died on mothers day last year after a operation on her intestines and she just never really recovered.. i think she lived for 2.5 months and she spent the afternoon saying goodbye and cuddling me... and watching this has brought back such beautiful memories... xo

  • I'm so sorry of hear of your loss! Losing any pet is incredibly hard, and losing an Abyssinian is even harder, as they truly are so loving. We lost our Leo all too soon from cancer.

Keeping you and Miss Magoo in my thoughts and prayers.

  • Oh, those huge eyes! <3 I'm getting an Aby as soon as I have the income and stability for a cat.

  • so cute! <3

    LOVET

  • whys it got udders? is it some sort of cow/cat hybrid.mmmooooeeeeooww

  • He has really pretty and intense eyes! I want them lol. My friend has a part Abyssinian cat he is nuts lol.

  • omg you're cat is insane I LOVE IT!!

  • 1:32 "Shame on you! You can't go out with this label on. Let me take care of it."

  • @78kokka LOL. Best. Comment. Ever.

  • My ten year old Japanese Bobtail is just as active, but she obviously doesn't chase her tail!

  • loved

  • Cabezita loka jaja

    Que boniiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiita

  • beautiful, beautiful cat!

  • Stewie is a amazing cat, My Abby/Tabby mix does the same things and when she wants to play or is getting ready to bounce of the walls her eys's go wide, I call that the wild eye. She picks and chooses when she wants to get her lovings but she only likes to be held when outside on the balcony and then as soon as we go in she wants down. and she loves to drag things trough out the apartment, she loves my nephew and I do want to get her a friend to play with when I am out maybe another Abby

  • holy shit, looks just like myne :p

  • Stewie is so awesome!! I think it's hilarious he makes toys out of the most random things. He reminds me of my little guy, Dexter. Dexter's a red and only 4 months old, but he seems to already be super intelligent! I have a couple of videos on my page of him if you want to check it out.

  • i love his face

  • thats so funny! how they act! cute! i want one! on foopets... i already have a cat though... heehee! :p

  • haha I know that wide look in the eyes, and the "crazy 5 min" from my burmese too. often at dusk

  • aww i just got a 4 month old abby, LOVE him!!! great breed..

  • what color aby is this? I like him!!! :)

  • @tlm2338 He is what they call a "ruddy" Abyssinian.

  • @jpcguy or over here in Australia we call them ruddy or Tawny...

  • It looks pretty typical to me. I love my two nutters. They have plenty of down time too and are super affectionate. Some comments say they are only affectionate to some people. This is true of our boy, this comes from there loyalty to their owners. It's abby's for life for me now, no other cat will do. They are stunning with personality to match. And yes prancing is their normal walk, like they are on tippy toes.

  • What a cute and funny cat. I bet he's just loads of entertainment. Beautiful eyes

  • Beautiful cat. Is he named after Stewie Griffin?

  • I love abys. They make my day- every day. I have 4; 2 blue maies, a blue female and a red male. (all neutered of course.) They bring the sunshine to my life.

  • I have 2 abbasinians of my own there always jumping around and getting into stuff, the only bad thing is that there always hungry!!!

  • nice cat: not "crazed". Just moves like an

    Abyssinian, with nervous energy.

  • ahahahaha i love your cat!! Please add more videos with Stewie, i love "insane" cats, they are so funny! That makes my day, puts a smile on my face :D

  • I always thought oddly of my cat. I here they are reallly hyper but mine used to be a hyper but not like the videos like this one and others I have seen. My abyssian has always wanted to be held and pet.

Is that a usual trait of them?

  • @ProudFordMAN It's not unusual at all...I hope this isn't a stupid answer, but every cat has it's own personality. Just because a breed normally has a certain personality associated with them doesn't me all cat's of that breed will all have that personality...if that makes sense...

  • @jpcguy True that!

I had this adorable little SheepdogxShnuazer mix(Buddy),he was tiny.I was being bullied at the time, and Buddy bit the bullies and scraed the shit outta them, not to mention saving my aunties life.He was vicious, but only to whoever hurt me.Once my mother pretended to hit me,and he savaged her arm.

  • Yes and no, as jpcguy says its personality but also Abbys have been bred for generations to be close to humans so are very friendly and playful although they do also have their moods. Some are extremely fun but some can be very reserved and show affection to only a few people.

  • I like adzi814's comment better. Our Abyssinian Leo was extremely close to select members of our family and could play for hours with them. Be he also felt the need to protect us from everyone else (in other words he was quite mean to them).

  • well...you can say that. Abyssinians are athlete and active breed

  • did i seriously just see it prance at 1:59 ?

  • there cool cats. super hyper and active as hell.

  • Two of the many reasons I love them to death.

  • Yeah I like them too. I never owned any but im looking at a cat this weekend that is half aby and domestic tiger. really pretty cat, should have nice personality with that mix.

  • Sounds awesome. Send some pics if you end up getting the cat!

  • I sure will. The lady said hes a real nice cat but its like a person its just a pic meeting the animal in person is alot different. He s an instersting looking cat though , has the tick hair around the mid area and tiger stripes around the leggs. Has pretty large ears like the abys. Hoping he has a good 50/50 mix in personality of both breeds. Hes unique though, can get alot of cats like that these days at the shelters , especially since the economy took a dump.

  • Does that mean someone who has an aby can't watch tv or sleep because the cat is in constant motion? lol

  • beautiful cat!

  • love the pic at 2.48 best!

  • what a great cat! You'd think he walked off an Ancient Egyptian bastet depiction :)

  • this cat is gorgeous. looks like a little mini cougar. very handsome

  • Absolutely beautiful cat, cant wait to get an abyssinian of my own =3

You also have quite the lovely home! :) Good taste in both the material, and additional family members It seems ^^

  • What a beautiful cat, thanks for posting this of your gorgeous cat I love Abyssinian cats. they are the best!!!!!

  • Hahahaha

Mine acts totally the same! So smart and unpredictable.

    LOVE the abyss!!!

  • I have two blue abbys brother and sister. I used to have a store and I would bring my female with me- when I would try and ring items up she would be at the cash wrap trying to help me... I will always love AbbysThe brother pines quite a bit and can jump very very high. The oriental breeds live much longer than other breeds. Mine will be 13 on Halloween.

  • My all-time favorite breed. <3

  • my cat act's that way too! i don't know what kind she is but. . . .her name is ela

  • Some years ago my family adopted a kitten that was supposedly part Abyssinian and from a champion line. Yet, she was all white!, but still had the look of one.

My mom named her Pasha and was one of the dearest pets I've ever had.

  • Where did you get Stewie??? He's great!!!

  • I have an abby and his name is Amos he acts just like urs..lol.

  • how precious!

  • We had two cats, a female Abby and a cross-eyed male Siamese named Schultz. He was spayed at 6 mos, but everytime she went into heat, the fool would try to mount her. It pissed hell out of her, but we had to laugh because he looked so utterly clueless.

  • Sweetest cat we ever owned was an Abby. One day my husband tossed an olive at her. She picked it up and brought it back to him for another game of fetch. It was one of her favorite games.

  • what a beautiful cat! how cute, would you recommend them for people with allergies?

  • I haven't had issues with our cats, and I have bad allergies. But it all depends on the person. I have heard supposedly that if you take a very lightly dampened paper towel or washcloth and wipe a cat off...it can greatly diminish the affects cats have on people with cat allergies.

  • My Abyssinian also shows signs of craziness. We're trying to figure out if it's some sort of genetic trait/flaw or if he was treated badly as a kitten.

He gets frightened by the slightest noises and is always very twitchy. Although aside from this his personality is great, the negative traits are becoming a real nuisance. A simple blood sample for Toxoplasmosis(etc) would result in him biting through a thick towel and scratching everyone and everything. afterwards, acts like nothing happened!

  • lovely ! ! !

  • I love that color!!!!

  • i have 2 and they are sisters. they were strays one came here and a few days later the other one followed it.

  • ABYS ftw!!!! I'm owned by three... a ruddy male (Sunne), a red male (Andy, and a blue female (Angel). Lost a female ruddy (Serena) a month ago. Miss her so much.

    I'll never be Abyless.

    Rhiannon

  • lol your cat is so random but super cute! i love the color of his fur...very pretty :)

  • My abby chases his tail too! and he gets that wide eyed look LoL It's great! Thanks for sharing!

  • aww haha this is so cute

    crazy...but cute :]

  • I have two abbys, a brother and a sister. They are great. Sometimes, they are very calm and sloppy, but sometimes they just play like crazy. The female is very protective to me and the male to my mother. But they are friendly to all of us. Abbys are really great cats.

  • What a silly goofy handsome boy! If I didn't already have 3...

  • My abby, Gideon, is not that loving to anyone but me. We've tried to figure this out, but there's nothing in common with the ones he likes which are 2 people. He even hisses at my mom, but he's still the best cat in the world =)

Stewie however, is very very adorable and as random, it seems, as Gid! XD

  • Our abby Leo, who passed away almost two years ago, had this similar attitude. VERY protective of certain family members (mainly me :-D) and pretty much evil to everyone else.

  • i love this cat im getting 1

soon we just need 2 find were bouts 2 get 1

ermm we will have to keep it an house cat becausee they are a expensive breed n we wouuldent want no harm to the cat

are they always playfull and loving..??

    sum 1 Write back plz..:D

    XXXXX

  • Absolutely an indoor cat. I don't think any cat should be an outdoor cat. As with any animal there really is no guarantee that they will be friendly. Try to find a breeder that has children an raises the kittens in a family environment. That's your best bet to have a friendly Abby.Abby's are VERY active cats, so lots of play time is a necessity and will keep your Abby happy. Finally, the most obvious of them all, lot's of love! Again there are no guarantees but this will help!

    Good Luck!

  • aww that's so cute. i have 2 abys. they are so fun to have around. their names are stryder and zeus and i've had them for 7 years. for anyone who's looking for a cat get an aby! THEY ARE THE BEST BREED.

  • They really are! So many people who say they "don't like cats" or aren't a cat person are stunned whenever they meet my aby. They are energetic, loving, and a TON of fun. I agree whole heartedly, EVERYONE should have an aby :-P

  • You clearly have captured the personality of your kitty on this video. She is a scream to watch. (I have an Aby that climbs up on the top of bookcases - and attacks my hair as I walk by!)

Ever wonder how in the world they can jump so high?

  • the best type of cat to get if u like them all playful. if u r the type who like shy cats and just a lap-cat then get persian cats but these cats are no joke. they will play till u get tired lol. my cusin has one and i want it but i cant find them at any near shelters. lol these cats RULE

  • I got one like 3 months ago and she is still sycho! she won't let me hold her! But i still love her greatly!! We got her in Wyoming... and we live in nebraska!!!

  • i want one my mom says ok but at the pet store i want to buy them at they are $900 so if u know any place were u could find one cheaper ni california mainly sanfrancisco please tell me i really want one. thankies!!!

  • If you need any more help finding an abby just make a post here and I'll do what I can! I can't stand the thought of someone wanting an Aby not getting to enjoy having one!

  • What a treat! Stewie is beautiful! Gorgeous face markings!

when we adopted our Aby-babies I was told that they'd pretty much follow us anywhere, and where an Aby goes, there's bound to be fun and games! Sadly, our one baby passed away far too early, but her sister Madonna is still very much with us. And literally in everything we do! It is comforting to see that it is indeed a trait of the breed to be abit cuckoo, because I had been wondering if my cat was nuts or had been driven nuts...! :)

  • Having three brown cats of my own I know how crazy abbys can be. Did you know they were originally bred from an Egyptian feline and a chimpanzee? Mine love to drink out of the sink, eat paper, and climb up to the top of the cabinets. Two of them love chasing the a laser pointer dot and will do all sorts of crazy things to get it, but the third couldn't care less. That abby is brown on the outside but almost like a normal housecat on the inside.

  • Wow, I had no idea that's how they were originally bred! Out of curiosity, where did you get that information from?! And yes, all of our abbys have loved to drink from the sink, and climb to the top of the cabinets as well. They have also had a particular taste for photographs...yum yum (I guess). I wish we had three abbys! Once I get my own place (I'm currently in college living in a dorm) I plan on owning multiple abbys, as they make such amazing companions. Thanks for commenting!

  • I have had many cats over the years - but I love my Abby. She is like no other cat I have ever had. She is really more like a dog -she fetches beanie babies and runs to the door when the bell rings to see who is there. She never met a person she didn't just love! Yours is very cute too! Abbys just have a very outgoing personality. Your blue abby will come around. :)

  • My second Abyssinian Leo who passed away about two years ago used to fetch hair bands. He would actually pull open my mother's and sister's drawers using his front paws and walking backwards on his hind legs, and then steal them from the drawer and bring them to us. I miss him so much (sigh).

  • Funny- my Abby loves to steal hair bands too. We find them everywhere. She gets them under the scatter rugs and then gets the rugs all balled up playing with them. She drinks from the sink and loves to lay on the back of the couch and play in my hair. She uses the tips of her claws and massages my scalp with her head buried in my hair. I don't want to even think about losing her!

  • My aby does that too. He goes especially for things I use everyday like hairties or stuff I work on (I do art that involve very tiny pieces) and he will always steal the same things over and over. I should learn! He is smarter than me.

  • i just adopted a beautiful blue abyssinian, she is way too shy, hiding in every wall crack she could possibly find. Deffinitely not like yours ! :)

    Yours is very sweet though!

  • Abby's can be very shy at young ages. Stewie was that cat when we first got him as well. Don't worry, they warm up to you!

  • Your cat is adorable by the way, cats are all adorable :P

  • my cat cassie is mix with a tabby and a abyssinian so cute!:)

  • lol. cool cat

  • this cat is awesome .... really pretty !!!

  • I had the prettiest abyssinian ever but she died a couple of months ago. :(

  • I'm sorry to hear that...losing a pet is REALLY hard, I lost an Abby (the most loving I've ever had) about a year ago...I still struggle to cope with it.

  • Yes it is hard. I still expect her to be waiting for me when I get home. It's just like losing a friend since they are so loving and are around all the time doing things with you.

  • I had 3 cats and this summer and 2 got killed, its just so sad, like losing a best friend,i cryed a lot.

I am sorry for the bad English

  • I lost an aby too. She was only 2yrs. It is the worse pain I have ever experienced.

  • very cute && pretty!!

  • Wow what a beauty!! Stewie certainly is a pretty boy. Would love to have an aby some day! :)

  • Abbys! woo!

  • He is BEAUTIFUL.

he is just as funny as my little oliver.

Hahaha, i hope you dont mind, but i muted the music you had on and put Hampster dance on itunes. IT WAS SO ADORABLE AND FUNNY.
