  • Make no mistake push-ups do indeed work the shoulders. If your shoulders are burning more than your chest or triceps, its usually because they are the weakest link. Try turning your hands outward and moving wider to isolate the chest more. My advice would be to keep at it and let your shoulder strength catch up to that of your chest. Soon you will be balanced.
