When I ran it, it told me i needed a certain amount of battery life, then it returned me to the Home menu, and it actually turned my pandora battery into a regular one! I tried clicking Make Pandora Battery on the CFW menu, and it didn't change it to a pandora battery! Help!

make a magic memory stick. put it in the psp then put the pandoras battery in.and choose the firmware. thats all.

it's not as easy as that sorry :(. You also have to take into consideration not to use some memory sticks (even the sony 1GB memory stick doesn't work, 2-4GB & 256MB works!) + you have to inject IPL and shit, i got an instruction pdf, i'm fine :)

Thanks but I m concerned! Everthing (start 3.90 M33-3) work as like the video until after the self start-up. A text message/screen informs that it has bn corrupted n it will go into recovery mode. After input of time region, date/time, name etc, the new Sony screen comes on in Pink! System info shows 5.00 M33. Everything is working so far except that some of my savegames r corrupted n cant load (i hv backup). Should I be concerned? Or is there anythg I can check? Would appreciate any help. Tks.

you have to have custom firmware already installed on your PSP in order to run the program to update your PSP to Custom Firmware 5.00 M33-4

Look up Pandora Battery and Magic Memory stick on Ebay, and I'm sure you can buy one, or have a friend who has a modded PSP make a Pandora battery and Magic memory stick for you (although Ebay ones usually come with printed instructions on what to do :-D)

hmm. yea, you can update with your stuffs on it. but preferably, it's better to do the update with a newly formatted memory stick. lots of people say that and i agree with it. but it's ok if you won't format your ms though. :D
